Me and the Boonville Baron out flying on a very windy day@ the Sawmill Field. The SWS did very well in the wind and I enjoyed kiting the plane. Balsa fly's better.

Bigger fly's better when the winds are strong. STOL planes / High wing planes are not aerobatic as some others but they fly slower and land better. Thanks for watching and your kind words.
Thanks Alex, there are rules to flying good in strong winds. As long as you follow the rules flying in strong winds is easier. There are many good videos on the subject and I have watched many of them. Thanks for watching and your support.

It is amazing but not good when the plane is not close it is perfect for on board footage tho so when I upgrade this will be my on board as I don't have one atm. I used to use mobius haha they were great but times change. What are you thinking of getting? I may get 1 of the newer go pros but have no clue what 1 lol
@@propgear123 Well I figure to get a Sony DCR-SR68 Handycam Camcorder 80GB HDD 60XOptical/2000X Digital Zoom And try it with my helmet. I can mod the helmet to mount the camera on the top with a angle bracket so I can adjust the angle for best picture. It will take a few flights to get it dialed in but with smart zoom I should be able to track a good flight. Not having a camera person full time sucks. I miss so many good aerobatics and cool stuff. because the plane goes out of camera range.

Works well but no auto zoom feature that sounds cool if that works ❤️❤️❤️is it a big cam? Won't it be too heavy for ya head? Didn't even know auto zoom was a thing 🤣🤣👍🏼😎
@@propgear123 Auto Zoom or Smart Zoom is for real good. My buddy has it on his videos and swears by it. As far as the weight of the handy Cam being too heavy for my head It is not very heavy and being mounted on the top center of the helmet should be balanced. I am a big man so I do not think it will be any issue at all. Sony make a great product and I am sure I will be happier with it than what my Insta 360 3 4k is doing ATM.
