So I haven't washed my hair in like.. a month lol & I was in need of some serious moisture for my hair so I decided to film my wash day routine. I think this routine is perfect for anybody with type 4 hair that may be struggling to find the right wash routine to keep their hair moisturized throughout the week, so I hope this helps! Never could I relate more when you said the front part of your hair won't grow out😭 I see everyone having these cute two twist in the front reaching their chin, while two years have passed and mine barely passes my eyebrows

@@kvshy try to oil your hair in the front more and massage the oil into your hair too, i cut my hair in the front and its almost been a year and it's gotten more longer than before

Will definitely try this. My blow dries always come out so dry. Have never seen the tension method
So would mine if I just applied leave in conditioner and heat protectant but I started using leave in and cream and oil or grease to seal in moisture and then blow dried and my hair be so moisturized and not all dry and brittle. Give it a try 😊
wet hair, apply leave-in conditioner, moisturizing hair cream, apply oil to seal in moisture, detangle
Ok should I blow dry my hair after I was and deep condition it. I wash my hair one a week or once every 2 weeks
So how do u style ur hair afterwards?
I don’t know if you knew but there’s lots of controversy around some DevaCurl causing hair loss and making hair limp. If it works for then that’s great but be careful. Just in case you didn’t know.

Yeah I heard about that too. I used Deva Curl products in the past & never had any issues with using them, but thanks for letting me know!
how come when i do the tension method and try and run my fingers through my hair there’s so many tangles even though i detangle prior to doing it?
It sounds like your only partially detangling your hair. You might benefit from an additional detangling session a week until your hair is trained by your consistency. Hope this helps!
Wish I saw this before blow drying my hair . I lost lot of hair because I didn’t detangle. Feels like a just damaged my hair
