Those houses are on Union island. Union island is a smaller island, in order to get the materials it has to be shipped there. Union island doesn’t have much trees and mountains to help slow down the wind. This is why union island got hit so bad compared to mainland. The same with Canaoun and Mayreau.

Wow the building standard on these islands are terrible all these concrete houses not one piece of steel in sight
Colax by looking at some of the structures that make up the houses you can see that the the structures was we,you have to get people who know how to mix the material some of the houses don’t have enough steal no braces I see a lot of fault, I don’t know if other people see too, when you are going to build your Airbnb you get people who know their stuff.
I saw it straight away but he will need a lot more assistance because steel not cheap. 🙏 praying more people to come on board

Those houses are on Union island. Union island is a smaller island, in order to get the materials it has to be shipped there.
Union island doesn’t have much trees and mountains to help slow down the wind. This is why union island got hit so bad compared to mainland. The same with Canaoun and Mayreau.

I went down south & saw all the devastation, I was so over whelmed that I ended up in the hospital & was advised NOT to go out and look at any more disasters.
