This two cars are brilliant. They make all modern "exotic supercars" look dumb from their exaggerated looks to their mechanical bits (engine and suspension). One does not need anything more to enjoy cars and driving than these two Alfas.
Great videos! Huge fan of Alfaholics. Dream cars . I do drive a 1976 BMW 2002 though and it's loads of fun. It's all about the sound, feel and simplicity. You're so lucky to ride in them. Alfaholics is the pinnacle.
This used to be Italian engineering and car building in the sixties. Not with a 2.1 longstroke crank, obviously, but with the torque You get off a chain driven double ohc in 1300 or 1600 cc versions, with a Solex register or a Weber double register carb, the amazing *_stock_* Alfa 5 speed box, and a "normal" rear axle but with spiffy triangular fixing. 4 doors, 5 (some with front bench 6!) seats and a boot to actually transport the things those 5 people would bring - and particularly faster than a 356 Porsche, which came with only 4 speed, 5 not an option, and don't get me started about "space" in those 2 door abominations from Zuffenhausen ....
Videos like this makes me dislike modern cars that drives itself rather than the driver, it illustrates the perfection and the purity of naturally aspirated engine. Love those vintage Alfas, one day my BMW Z4 3.0si will mature as a vintage in the next 20years, I suppose.
we love the mountains, in 2016 we made a trip, starting at the Grossglockner and going to Vence close to Nice. 50 passes in 5 days 🍀 It was amazing, the whole Grand Alpes and at last the Col de Turini and Col de Braus
Didn’t Alfa Romeo do their prototype testing up and down the Stelvio Pass in days gone by? Great to see Alfa105’s in their natural environment. Superb cars brought up to date by the Banks brothers. Shame about the focus problems but an enjoyable video nonetheless. 👍
Awesome cinematography. I've always craved for more content related to the Alfaholics GTAR-290, despite the videos by Chris Harris+Neil Carey, EVO and DRIVETRIBE. Do you know how much a GTAR-290 costs? Was it £200,000?
Awesome video! Dont forget Alfaholics can put creature comforts like power steering (which comes into play at slow speeds) and airconditioning etc in their GTA-R recreations if you ask nicely. Is that a tank in 13.03?
Please remember that this is a non-closed two way road and do the Alfa and an eventually opposing traffic a favour and stay on your side of the road. Especially in the Corners where you cannot see anything. Thank you.
I didn't like their insane driving either. Thats a way to drive for a closed ring. People like that absofuckinglutely ruin not only Switzerland for all other drivers ....
I didn´t say I don´t like their driving, I said I don´t like their line in the corners. You can drive like a Maniac if you want but stay on your side of the road. There is nothing worse as if you come trough the corner and the opposing traffic encounters on *your* side. In the worst case this could be the last experience you ever made.
@@lukecowell7516 i live in italy, i went up and down Stelvio pass a zillion time and i SWEAR i never had to reverse a single time because i got stuck in an hairpin.. jeez. Not even with an Honda S2000 with its notorious bad turning radius.
Is anyone can tell where is exactly on a map the long tunnel at 7'20 of the video. What is the name of it - Can't properly hear the name said on their talkies. Thanks
Makes me laugh. These cars are so heavily modified they are nothing like the originals. Put these up against an equally modified mk2 Escort, 240Z or MX5 and they'd be completely out classed. No mention of how much these cars cost...but knowing Alfaholics they'd be well over £150k...
Any car would be hard pushed to beat these things. They are tastefully rebuilt to look like the classic but drive like the devil. No one would complain
Who the fuck cares. MX5's are hairdresser cars or old blokes who were never that successful and drive a cheap sports car. Can't stand them. Ford badge lined up against an Alfa Giulia.....LOL.
If you invested in a decent camera and a mount and stopped looking at yourself we would have had a better video. I've just been watching Harry's Garage and the difference couldn't have been more embarrassing for you.

2002’s are fantastic! But yes the Alfaholics cars are really something else. Felt very privileged to be able to spend so much time in then

A beautiful Alfa with the steering wheel on the wrong side :)
Hahaha Richard Attenborough moment was great. Outstanding drive!
love ALFA !!!! fantastic!!
First gear? Wow. That really is tight for an Alfa. I'm so jealous and miss my Alfas like crazy.
Great Tour, Great Cars ... Alfaholics pure!
Best cars on earth 🍀🏎😍
Ended up here through trawling alfaholics videos. Great work
Wow the noise 😍😍
Addictive right?

What a wonder guys! Italian sounds are simply a symphony
I had a Giulia 1.3 super in the past. 1 of 10 Alfa's I had. All of them are special, but the Guilia… I miss that fantastic car every day
Love it! We did the same route a few weeks back, just the best fun ever.

Thanks man! Really appreciate it. There’s more content coming for next year 😎 Urm I believe it’s around £250,000 but i don’t actually know
Looking forward to future videos man. Subscribed!
Legend 🙏🏻🙏🏻
THAT DOES IT!!! I’m buying one!
Hope you've got a spare 200K.. That's virtually what they cost to build..
Somebody loves the look of their own face a lot! Switched off at that point. Some people are just in love with themselves too much.
These guys need to start doing 116 series cars and V6s
Handheld parts can be a bit much - but love your enthusiasm
The Alfa TI Super was also used by the Italian Police.
non è il sound della solita tedesca 'ma è il ruggito di un leone!
Awesome video! Dont forget Alfaholics can put creature comforts like power steering (which comes into play at slow speeds) and airconditioning etc in their GTA-R recreations if you ask nicely.
Is that a tank in 13.03?
Why would You? I could understand electric fans for stop'n go situations to cover Your engine, but power steering ... Geez, it isn't a Citroën, is it?
these are nanny free cars 🍀

i'm pretty sure they wrapped up filming by now... maybe a tip for future reference?
It's in Italy?? It a how they all drive

Please film a full clip into and about the GTA-R 290 🙏🏻🍀
All In good time
Without starting a pointless arguement over carbs vs fuel injection,as far as sound goes carbs win it by a country mile.
@2:33 perfect view!
This looks like the Umbrail early in the morning, rather than the Stelvio. Would be good to get some place names, routes, time of day, etc. Thanks.
Very beautifull fun!!!!!
I've now ended up buying a 73 Giulia thanks to you guy's!! Haha 😂
EXCELLENT
Petrol head heaven
just proves you don't need to spend tens of thousands to have a ball!
Is anyone can tell where is exactly on a map the long tunnel at 7'20 of the video. What is the name of it - Can't properly hear the name said on their talkies. Thanks
PURE UNFILTERED
Wish you could order and 3D print these cars straight from Alfa.. new cars offer nothing but speed a efficiency..
Why do the brakes constantly whine?
Mostely because they need to get up to heat and also because they are mega good. A lot of supercars do the same. Gt3 and the like
Race pads
Best best best....
What is that screeching noise?
What was that first tunnel called?!
Urrmmm can’t remember but it’s right next to lake levigno
lake is "lago di Livigno" Tunnel is "Tunnel Munt La Schera"
When you toss 100,000+ GBP cars in the corners like that..
Great footage of the alfas! Less 'music' played over the cars would be better
grazie
Why are we staring at your face and hearing you talk so much. Save it for the end
Human interaction.
Right I have Kleenex this time, let's do this...
Ps it was a Porsche gt3 and clarkson in a gallardo superleggera
Hahah brilliant 🤣🤣🤣💦💦💦
Ahhh yes! Worked it out after but brilliant episode 👌🏻👌🏻
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
y'all wanna skip past all that gibberish drama filled millennial bs.... just skip right to 7:22
The lower gauges are everything but period style 🤔 And they sort of break with the otherwise prettiest car there is!
Well you gotta make sure things are running smooth. But you can’t deny the sheer epicness of the cars
should have driven up the stilferjoch (stelvio) from Prad not Bormio! opposite direction .
i love giulias
fan fuckintastic noise wow and the GTA view wow :)))
Wouldnt say it looked effortless, tbh
Shit camera work. Almost got car sick watching. A real shame as the cars and scenery were magnificent.
SUPER FORZA ALFA
i smell rubber
Great cars
Shame the Fiat/MX5 had to show the way
Gah what a shame the footage is so shaky
Listen this brakes. Men that's an old lady.
Was interested to have a look at the car, but instead there was a man taking a pee and a filming of pine trees. Not the best choice.
do your parents know you're out of the basement ?
They don’t have a basement so can’t be from there...
❤️🍀🍀🍀
too bad they cost 200K :/
Its a fiat 124 spider not an alfa 124 spider
Think it's an Abarth actually

You can put 100K on a miata or 240z but they will never look like a giulia. Simple as that.
Who the fuck cares. MX5's are hairdresser cars or old blokes who were never that successful and drive a cheap sports car. Can't stand them. Ford badge lined up against an Alfa Giulia.....LOL.
When you need a GPS for a pass... Kinda didn’t like this, sorry
If you invested in a decent camera and a mount and stopped looking at yourself we would have had a better video. I've just been watching Harry's Garage and the difference couldn't have been more embarrassing for you.
I cringed so hard at these guys.
Why?
so annoying brakes
The schoolboy talks too much.
More car, less face of the narrator please. Your target group is older than 16.
you are not that handsome you think you are, less talking and more engines. thanks.
