It takes up to 2 or 3 weeks before the battery will charge to max capacity as the battery calibrates itself with usage and learns from how your using it. If you have a galaxy watch for the first week if you click on battery says its learning as it learns your usage before it can charge to full capacity
thank you... appreciate your detailed review... been considering Pixel 3... right now if you have Google FI (which I do) you can get the Pixel 3 LTE for $350 (it's instant $150 off)... but you also get 24 months of bill credit for the $350... so you actually get the watch for free! (this will be good from Nov 17th through Jan 7th 2025).
I get maybe 30 hours with AOD and that includes a 1 hour walk with gps, and notifications, and around 35% battery. Its miles better than they claim. I reckon with ADO could stretch to 36 hours if I let the battery run down.
Whenever you use a Google keyboard, the word on the left of suggested words after you've spelled out what you want is the word that's possibly NOT in your swype motion dictionary. Tap the word once you see it and it will match it to your swype. I get 36 hours with AOD on and NFC, Wi-Fi and adaptive brightness off with" go to watchface" set at 5 seconds. I have an LGV60 and a OnePlus Open so I have to use a third party watch camera app.
I dig mine. The first android smartwatch that is close to convincing me to leave Garmin. I have big wrists and the 45mm plus the Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Case and Band makes the watch big enough for me. Hopefully they make even a bigger one next time, giving us dual band GPS and external heart rate strap functionality. This is close to replacing my Garmin for running but it just needs to do a little more for me to just use the Pixel Watch and leave Garmin behind for good.
Google working on it, and will get there. :) But if you after a "Smartwatch" it´s not much that beats the AW Ultra or Galaxy Watch Ultra atm. :) If you not into tracking/Training then Garmin all day.
If u do so - can u lmk how it went? tbh I want to switch go google myself.... I want a watch like that and not apple watch. I think the AW2 ultra is great, but I dont like the look
The watch faces aren’t that great, they’re boring actually. Can’t add a calculator or compass and stuff like that to a watch face. Both Apple Watch and Galaxy watch has these features.

I get 5-6 days with AOD on.

I get 30hrs on the same watch with AOD - is your unit defective?

I’m thinking of moving from Apple. Can anyone advise if you can receive FB messages on PW3?
I get over two days on a single charge with no AOD but with tilt to wake.
I get 3.5/4 days with AOD off and i have the 45mm LTE version .i dont use batery saver at all
Do you have the LTE activated? What do you use it for? Just asking because I just got a Galaxy Watch 7 44mm but I'd rather get the Pixel Watch 3
Just switched to the Google pixel 9 pro xl I'm really tempted to trade my apple watch ultra 2 for the google pixel watch 3
this makes sense
Do it. Google is now coming into Apple MarketShare more than Motorola is.
Either sell it on the used market or trade it.

Still don't know how Huawei makes watches that last up to 14 days mine has lasted 20😮Have a pixel 1 that last only 1 day😅
Only 3 days of battery life on a $500 watch? Really?

Compared to my ultra pixel watch 3 seems basic...
6:05 so they blatantly copying apple watch?
Where are they actually copying apple. I've got to hear this.
As much as I like the look & feel of this watch, I’d Never buy it cus of software support is only 3 years wtf Google that’s insane for the price tag!!
@@katinasoutherland7693 who keeps a watch for 3 years??!!
