I had forehead surg. three days later an "egg" appeared on my forehead! Then my eyes swelled shut to the point I could NOT drive. While I was at surg. I was left in the room for over 1 hour with head wide open...maybe that's where i got the infection. This happened july3rd at night....YES a HOLIDAY to boot! Went to an Urgent care clinic. They said I was infected....gave me a shot and prescribed 3 antibiotics...3 days later It WENT away.swelling gone... lump on head still there.THEN Aug.16th guess what?? eyes swelled again....lump on head now red and warm to touch and grew larger! BOTH TIMES this crap occurred on Friday nights! Went to urgent care again.....the doc this time told me I have severe cellulitis and possible MERSA amongst other wonderful things. Mohs surg; in my case, was not worth the risk or aggravation afterwards. If you get mohs on your head....above your eyes be prepared for more crap to happen than they tell you. This is MY experience but be prepared it can happen to you too.

Thanks for the information. Question is what can I do about the spider veins in my nose that seemed to be greatly enhanced after the surgery

Is it normal for nose to be slightly purple 1 month after mohs surgery? I was going to start massaging my nose and after I did, the next day it was a little purple.Im worried and need to know (I had a skin graft over the surgery site)
