Hammond another friend had to have a place to live and the only place they find is the apartment for women so they have to dress if women. When Brutal smacked Del’s cell bars and snapped “Learn when to shut up,” I was thinking the exact same thing. As cruel and sadistic as Percy was, and as much as he deserved to be put in his place, it was really stupid of Del to laugh and mock him when he wet himself. Clearly he did not learn from having his finger broken how cruel and petty Percy could be. If he had just kept his cool and walked away, Percy may have done the same, the whole mouse-squashing incident and sabotaged execution may not have happened.
To be fair, Del doesn't really seem to be _all there,_ if you know what I mean. Even still, it clearly wasn't a good idea to antagonize and obviously violent prison guard who has an already proven hate boner for you. 😅

Though it was a good movie overall... it was rather distasteful that they portrayed the murderers as innocent/gentle/humorous and the families of victims seem wrong which of course is the exact opposite of reality.
they were not portrayed as "innocent", they were portrayed as human beings. not to mention the disparity between people like del and bitterbuck vs wild bill. clearly the first two had recognized the wrongs they had done and would have wanted to atone for said wrong if they had been given a chance. bill on the other hand is clearly of pure "evil", and would most likely never become a better person. doing a horrible thing does not automatically make you a horrible person.........if only more people would recognize that, it would make a huge change in how people deal with criminals, and we would have less repeat offenders going back into the system.
