The white drills in the neon pack are glow in the dark
Rachael I agree save the trees when you can. Unfortunately there are alot of people who don't have internet or smart phones. DD are bought in brick and mortar stores. Hence the reason they need the instructions printed.

Rachel, i wish they could make dp more "earth friendly". I feel guilty sometimes about using so much plastic, but i love the hobby so, so much, i could not say goodbye to daimond painting anymore.
You could try spell queen there less plastic
Sorry, this is really late, but I also never throw my trash drills in the bin. I have two large mason jars (32 oz so they'll last me FOREVER) and I put my 310 junk drills in one and the other colours in the other one so it's a slow growing collection and since the 310s are in one, I think the other with the colours will look really pretty as I slowly add to it over the years. Just a little extra way to make it more Earth friendly :)

I love Diamond Dotz, I bought almost every kit sold in Hobby Lobby and Joanns. I hope they change them up soon. 2 years of all the same ones. They come with just a few bad drills; convex ones that rock or concave ones that are paper thin.
With neon you need white to make it stand out. It enhances the neon effect.

I have found Diamond Dotz kits at Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Joanns Fabrics here in the US.
Lovely designs, I like Diamond Dotz, they are very sparkly. A majority of their designs are partials, I hope they can produce more full drill ones.
Diamond dotz have a lot of Full dtill ones in round and also square. 😀
The first diamond painting I was doing, the tiny stylus included was killing my hand. I ran out to JoAnns and got a Diamond Dotz Ergo Stylus pack. It made all the difference. If that hadn't let me finish my first painting, my new hobby would have ended right there.

Wow! I literally just stumbled upon Diamond Dotz yday at JoAnn (Fabrics). They had a sale, so I picked up Lulu Llama and Miniature Magic ( a hummingbird). Then today I found a Diamond Dotz Wonder Woman at Hobby Lobby! She's my favorite DC character. I'm kitting up all three kits as I'm listening in to you ! How much fun!!!

Wow! Awesome pack. I love Diamond dotz. They have the sparkliest drills I have seen. I have some of the ab drills as well. The Dotz stick is like a poured glue that you brush on. I have used it to replace a double sided adhesive canvas, it works fantastic and is pretty easy to do. The glue is great to work with. I used the dd clear cover over the top.
I’ve done Diamond Dots. I ve had difficulty with some of the symbols a bright light would help. I live in Florida. Joann’s and Hobby Lobby also carry them plus extra bottles of drills

The drills you thought were crystals are actually part of their metallic line. I’ve used them in a few paintings and they really look awesome and can make the areas pop. They also sparkle like nobody’s business.

“Nobody’s business” I haven’t heard that in a long time. My father and his sister (my aunt) used to say it all the time. They are both gone for many many years. They were from Brooklyn NY. She was a WWII nurse in NYC.

I love DD... I think their drills are amazing. They recently introduced DD square kits! They're all full drill and you can get the squares pre-framed too! I also heard they're going to start using DMC codes, as well, so cross our fingers!! FYI, DD sells glue called DD Dotz Stick, it's only an adhesive. Thanks so much for the great video!!🤗🥰
Diamond dotz also sells several books of dog, cats, horse, ect... They have the patterns and different ideas for you to put on those blank canvas.
That red dress!!!!!! Love it. I also think it’s goo that they have a grey boat. It’s a natural color to easy see any shade.
FYI, I have purchased the glue of which you were speaking of, and it is for applying to a canvas as to make it sticky for laying drills on a canvas. I am assuming that is the only glue they have, as I have only seen that particular one. Btw, it works GREAT!
The craft store called spotlight in Australia sells diamond dotz canvases it’s online and in store as well
Spotlight Stores in Australia sell Diamond Dotz Products, it is up to the store how much of DD range they stock, but if you don't see it on the shelves you can order online. I have done two DD paintings and they are really nice, colorful, easy, and hassle free to do.

I recently became aware of Diamond Dotz and thought that it was only available in USA. However I searched for DD in Australia and have found a few places where you can buy online. On Thursday I found a good selection of DD in a Kaiser craft shop near me. They don’t have some of the extras like glue.
The light pad was a good purchase for me in feb states a year ago- I got the one that’s twice as big as the a1, and I used a 40%off coupon in store for HobbyLobby- which made it like $12 iirc.
The stylist style pen is a great pen to have but I haven’t sussed out how to truly freestyle with the glue poured stuff and all- It took me forever to go from like embroidery and cross stitch kits to making my own from custom fabrics and flosses and purchasing pattens- so I kinda ya know feel the same about this. So many wonderful and affordable designs that it’s hard to think of creating my own yet......

I’ve done cross stitch patterns with freestyle. The round drills in the grid are not as distracting as you might think with the solid white background. Also diamond dotz has recently released square drill canvas’ but so far not freestyle drills
I love Diamond Dotz, don't think I would use any other brand!

I have never had a bad canvas from them. The symbols have always been clear. This company is worth a try.
They are quality.
I have done at least 30 of them. The drills are always good, just a few that are bad. But that cant be helped
The legend is always clear and easy to read. The glue is always even. They have the best wax too.

The red fairy is gorgeous! I think Diamond Dotz does a good job with their partials. Otherwise, it would be really hard to render the face.

Those smooth round special drills are the shape called Cabochons.
In Australia diamond dotz are sold at Hobbysew shops, they have a big sellection.
And spotlight and I have seen them at Big W
I just went to the Diamond Dotz site and saw that they have a Diamond Dotz - DMC conversion chart so we can see the equivalent numbers between the two.
Their drills are different than others. The facets are different. They are a bit larger too. I dont know the sizes but can see theyre different.
@@irenec7665 yes they are certainly different. The top of the drills are flat. I've done several of their paintings. I was just interested in comparing the colors more so than using one to substitute for the other. I'm curious like that.🤣🤣🤣

I was just saying it because some people don’t know the different companies drills are different. Doesn’t matter if the companies are high end. I learned the hard way.
I subbed out black for DD black in a crystal kit. It looked good only because the crystal are so different from ‘regular’ drills and the pic itself. The black sent in the kit were awful.

If anyone is in the UK, you can order from Diamond Dotz's EU site, and they'll deliver. I've ordered from them twice now. Not sure what the situation is now with the whole shipping issues that have been caused by Brexit.

The QR code idea is a nice one but not everyone has phones and uses older people may not be comfortable with the QR readers but have magnifiers to read the directions...
In The Netherlands you can get DD from the webshop Bol.com. I don't know any physical stores that carry them.

My mom is on hospice and she does diamond art and her wish is to get the freestyle box and I have messaged diamond dots so many times and emails and I’m trying to make this last wish come true for my mom who is in lung and heart failure and I have tried for 2 months to get this box for her bc diamond art is what keeps her going and excited And they keep sending them to people who do UA-cam and that’s great but this is her last wish and I can’t seem to get anyone at diamond dots to understand this! I’ve tried soooo hard to get the freestyle box for her and I just can’t and it just sucks when you try and try for someone! I’ve tried sooo hard !

Diamond Dotz have the shiniest and most amazing drills quality. Also the color selection for their art are very carefully curated. I’m not an affiliate at all. Just a regular customer. The colors in Diamond Art kits have been a disappointment to me. The skin color for both “The Roaring 20s” and “Galaxy” are truly awful. I did not even finish the Roaring 20s. I will not display Galaxy. The finish product does not match the pictures on their website. I have been buying Diamond Dotz of late and love the final product.
I get the impression you are not a fan of this company. I love Diamond Dotz company. That color chart is the bomb, they don't work on the DMC color system. You have a treasure trove of goodies from them.
