Very realistic (though the meteor part is a bit absurd). This is quite likely when the SHTF. I do not appreciate UA-cam censoring words, though.

NB. This is not 'Meteor: First Impact,' (2022) it is 'Meteor' (2021 ) a movie by the same writer/director and appears to be just as bad.

"Water is hard to come by" is understandable considering he only has about five million gallons in the lake that's about a hundred yards from his front step. 🤣
He probably means potable water. The lake may be contaminated.

@@editched2 Meteors aren't radioactive. Well, technically they can be, but only trace elements, no more than any other rock you could pick up on earth. There wouldn't be any significant radioactive contamination from them hitting earth.

A little creepy....but i guess trying for realism as catastrophe movie....but end sucked! She didn't learn to mistrust the first time around....in end this guy sneaks up and she going to ask him to help find her brother?????? If they make sequel it will start with her being on some rich folks menue. Lol
This is the FIRST TIME, to my memory, that an actor, loaded a pistol, chambered one round AND PUT ON THE SAFETY, before holstering the weapon- BRAVO!
He forgot rule #1 Sometimes ya got to keep shooting till their dead. Pretty crap movie really , her brother was 3yrs older then her when it happened so he was 10 & she said he was studying to become a Dr of some sort...Must have been Dougie Howser.
He screwed up shooting the lackey instead of the leader.
Not a film critic, but I did enjoy most of it. Two things not so much. The wanna-be "Negan" bad guy and why didn't the doctor looks at her wound? Blood all over the bathroom sink and a 12" wound on her side is not concerning? Still worth a like in my eyes.
Well it starts with the footage of the Japan/China? Tsunami/Dam/Spillover.
I guess for these disaster movies, it's good we all have weapons. 😮
Spoiler: OK, the bad guys killed the doc and found the man and girl... why are they walking so slow??? I watched to the end... I rate this 3/10.
Happily I view based on my own enjoyment, not if it is a blockbuster everytime. Also not random people out to ruin it for those who may like the movie. 🥺🧏🏻♀️🇨🇦

enjoyable movie
No breakfast as yet. At home. My kitchen is about to deliver a roast lamb and cheese sandwich on wholemeal bread (when thawed), and my second cup of coffee for the day. I'll then watch the movie in total comfort on my fave chair chair, feet up. Outside is sunny, but cold and windy. I'm 72. What's not to like about watching a movie at home?

You don't get closer at stabiing distance ever, in real life. Usually make you face down and search the pockets with guns to head from both sides, with hands tided behind.
At time 12:30, at the self erasure attempt... the dude had the wrong angle. Could have been an even worse situation.
Not sure what the heck is going on only that the old guy is having flashbacks of when the meteor hit. Why call it Meteor if it's not happening when a meteor hit?

Entire movie made for under One Million Dollars.
Sort of good, darker than my taste, but very well done. Some really beautiful outdoor scenes and pics from the flood and disaster after were certainly realistic and disturbing. Can't say I loved it but i am glad I watched it. Very strange ending. Thank you to the uploader and God bless.

Probably why people say it is bad or compare it to other movies. It hits home, makes one think. Apophis is a real threat and passes near earth either 2025 or 2069. We had a meteoroid pass very close just this past month. It really is just a matter of time. Scripture prophecies warn us of this event.🙋🏻♀️💋❤️🇨🇦💛

The story of two incredibly stupid people trying to survive the apocalypse. I find it hard to believe these two lasted ten years after the meteor when they both seem to have the survival instincts of a toddler. It had a few good moments, but overall, it was more annoying than enjoyable.
