One common denominator in most all of these disaster movies made in the last 15-20 years is rotten, immature kids (under about 18). I don't see how the younger generations can watch them when they're consistently portrayed as these whiny little brats. The people who write these movies must all have kids that should have been named Damien.

All I wanted was a meteor! And some explosions and maybe a fireball... Instead I got 20 subplots, bad dialogue, horrible acting, and Rambo pretending to be an astrophysicist!
Couldn’t have put it better, even I’ve given up and I *like* bad movies. I’d been hanging on in the hope they’d all be consumed by a giant fireball but decided even that couldn’t keep me watching to the end 😂

4/5th of the movie is a walking through the bush trip with at the very end some kind of disaster movie with bad special effects... Storytelling and screenwriting is an art what's not showed in this B-movie. Sorry for the good actors but this are two separated movies packages into one movie. At the end the lost son is find again without wolf-issues any more... The wolf was only for the show and for the suspense... And suddenly they are stalked by The Third Man... falling out of the sky... Is this one of the meteors? And mixed with marriage and father-daughter problems... Even that half bush-movie isn't worth to look at it.

The film industry is stuck in the days of silent movie, they had their piano players in every cinema, and the makers just cannot grow up and replicate REAL LIFE.
I stuck this for 39 minutes. I had no engineered concern for the city-boy, who went wandering around without any kit, in a landscape he couldn't cope with, none for the girl, who whines too much, and none for the fake Jesse Dollimore, who simply lacked any MAN vibes. Just another city-boy townie out of his depth. And clearly sponsored by the NRA, just gotta prove you are a man by carrying a gun. And the globe is a big place, BUT, everything always happens in the US? And it is always a Yenghi who solves the problem with nothing.

Spending most of the time in the woods looking for a lost kid was just phenomenal. The spent all the budget on the first 16 mins seeing a meteor hit New Mexico. Let’s see where this takes us. I’m watching now just for continuity errors etc. lol
Ya ... the wandering in the forest was epic ... spellbinding.
Why they didn't grab the bag of the bad guy, is beyond me. They know it at least has water in it.
It doesn't take long to start cheering for the comet.
The only "action disaster" was when the kid with an open leg fracture managed to be fine again after an hour.

Dad and daughter walk slowly to the place where they could warn the World who will have a chance, if they would but hurry ... they don't.
"Lucas hi. You ok?"
"Yes the psycho patched me up and has a charming accent!" says Lucas.
Dad: "We only have minutes to warn everybody."
"...BUT Let's have a 30 minute discussion before warning people to evacuate and find shelter, and you can give me a hacking lesson on coding and cyphers. That's priority."

Not much about the disaster in the movie, mostly about the lost kid. Acting or directing was poor. They were pressed for time, yet they went searching for the missing boy while walking slower than I do when going on a stroll. I appreciated you uploading movies though, and that not all movies will satisfy all audiences. Thanks
This is not a disaster Movie, it is aFamily tragedy Movie the writers forget what Movie They actually was going to make.
Appreciate the upload but on boy this was a real stinker. Audibly groaned on the introduction of the typical whiny hard-done-by teenager.. The whole mother narrative could have be edited out and not be missed. Not one I will watch again that is for sure.

Mediocre acting, poor story line, beautiful photography.
The language ruins it.
Bad script. Worse acting. Too much "touchy, feely". Very little "Action". And bugger all "Disaster". Not impressed.
Skip from 22mins to 1:03:50 & you miss NOTHING relevant to the meteors or disasters.
This movie has lost the plot…literally.

Oh mercy that was so so so poorly written and some stiff acting. The adults were the worst actors, Dad, mom, and dad’s boss was the very worst!!!! At least Lucas was kind of funny and the daughter was as weird as Lucas so that sums it all up…😂
This COULD have been a good movie but the flashbacks and terrible writing ruined it. I mean the girls mother is dying and all she is worried about is getting into college.
Too much interpersonal problems and these problems get too much airtime. The act isn’t too great, but the constant sniping at each other is what kills it. I had to fast forward through a good amount.

Don't get your hopes up if you are a special effects fan. Meteor strikes doing less damage than a wwII mortar round and the plot is all over the place with the Mother's story... I give it a 3/10 at best.
You're more generous than I am. I would give it a 2 only because it has some beautiful scenery.

I’m only at @ 30:00 and have been slowly reducing my score I’m at 5/10 right now but I am 100% sure it will go lower.
2/10. Meteors running through atmosphere are decent. Screenplay is pretty lame. Of course none believes the one who alone founds the meteors. Not even after first strike. Whole network of stuff that is designed to do that. All crazy stuff in the forest. Alone survival, that is stolen from Terminator (that was awful like all too long series)... And so on.
But yea, still did watch it.
Well. At least they had a good camera. And this wasn't about a meteor impact

Meanwhile 2 Meteors fall exactly where Dad predicted.
Boss gets on with his day whistling as per a normal day, doesn't care. Even though it could make his company wealthy beyond reason for being able to predict Extinction Events.
Terrible movie no action world is ending and we see two walks in the forest 😢
This is a suspense thriller, not a pure action
The walk through the woods seemed to go on forever. The ending portion was pretty good.
Not gonna listen to all the foul language, have had enough of Hollywood.
Considering the subject matter you would think a little more urgency would be appropriate. Most of this pathetic movie is about two people having a gentle stroll through some sparse woodland. How Lucas managed to get himself a compound fracture is anyone's guess. Why on earth do they need a half hour break after walking at a snails pace in what appears to be a country park.
Only reason I watched this the whole way through is my wife died from cancer. I'm a US Army combat vet and a retired MMA fighter, but I couldn't beat that for her. Only time in my life I ever experienced hopelessness.
That must be so hard for you. I watch bad disaster movies when life just becomes too much for me. It sort of helps a bit sometimes.

Hard to relate to the characters. A whiny teenager who doesn't get to go to college even though a meteor shower is getting ready to wipe out our species, abandoning getting the message out to the world because there is an idiot kid lost in the woods and they have to find him. Really badly done AI that doesn't even look real. I'm almost a half hour in and I'm already not willing to watch the rest of it.

This movie truly was a disaster movie. Sorry a disaster OF a movie and I have watched many disaster films but this one was truly bad.
Heavy on Lucas, very very light on meteor. I only watched the whole film because Thom Hallum is pure Zaddy!

This movie would be much better if half of the show isn't about finding and saving Lucas 🙄 What is this? Saving Private Lucas? They should focus more about the meteor, which is what the movie is about in the first place.

If you like a supposedly scientist that have a garbage dumpster for a mouth, that acts like an enraged truck driver, and with a big body built but can’t fight at all. I'm looking for good stupid movies to show in the stupid movie club I'm running and there's a point when they're too stupid for even that. The SI Mary-Sue movie I wrote and got my homeschool group friends to work on when I was 10 had better acting. I guess that's just what you get when you watch free movies but still...

Really ? That's a joke. The man and his daughter spent more time looking for a stupid loser kid in the forest and this is about " A scientist racing the clock to save Earth". Even though it's a free movie, but it's a piece of garbage.
Had to skip through the movie. Dumb plot, skewed priorities, very bad effects, and very bad science that even a school child can spot. Bad even for a b movie. At least the acting was okay
Even as a cheapely made tv movie the acting is 3rd rate at best and the special effects in Charlie Chaplin movies were better. Were the script writers guild on stike when this was made and a high schooler wrote it? And why the hell is everyone a douchebag that wouldn't survive the common everyday trevails that even a monk has

Kinda ok movie.. what gets me is that its scary that something like this could actually happen.. i mean all those rocks floating around out there... the only thing i would feel sorry for are the animals.. no one cares about them.. humans help humans after all
What is this film? A meteor or a kid searching? I click forward, forward .... to see if interesting ... oups, a film seen in less than 3 minutes, still a waste. At least, I roll back to enjoy a few nice landscapes at the end.
Terrible excuse for a movie. Don't know what was worse, the poor acting or the scary looking bridesmaids in the wedding scene near the start.
Disappointed the producer chose a guy who clearly is not a family man. He'd stress me out if i grew up in his household. Didnt feel the disaster much in this disaster movie. There were moments of good acting but the plot was not to my liking.
It looked to be a really good movie. But I had to turn if off because of the language. The rating is PG, but I would say PG-13.

I missed something. So, he's outside in a tshirt drinking beer. Then he's in a dress shirt in the kitchen. Then he's in the tshirt drinking beer in what looks like a motel. This is where I stopped watching this debacle.

Very limited cast and focused more on relationships then the end of the world, but held my interest anyway.
