Thank you for your support! We appreciate you watchin’ Farm Hand’s Companion!
Well that was the first time I ever watched a twelve minute commercial and was happy about it!
I believe I'll take that as a compliment!
Thanks for watchin', Barlo
This past week, I was in the neighborhood and took a side trip out to Caddo Gap to visit Pa Mac's Mercantile. What a great place! I loaded up on some classic sweets and enjoyed the traditional ambiance. I'll undoubtedly swing through again next time I'm down that way.
Thank you, Traveling Gandy Dancer. It was great gettin' to meet you and spend some time with you. Anyone who likes and appreciates trains and railroads needs to visit your channel and watch the great shows you're putting together. I highly recommend 'em. You go to great lengths and trouble to get some great shots of our world's great railways: ua-cam.com/channels/vA3BSSjkKRCgam736w0ggA.html
Keep up the great work, Traveling Gandy Dancer!
Whimsical, brilliant, entertaining, smart, funny and WHOLESOME! GOOD FOR YOU and God bless!!
I'm so glad to see you keeping heritage alive. Not too many places like that any more. Thank you for sharing.
The store looks amazing, what a treasure to preserve!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE STORE!!
WAY TO GO FARMER! WAY TO GO!
Thanks for introducing your family, and best of luck with the new business!
Thank you, Alan, for the kind words.
And thanks to everyone else for watchin', too.
Your videos are the most entertaining on UA-cam! Keep them coming I have watched the barn ones twice, you are a very patient man.
Wish you the best with your new store!
But, have to add ... at 3:55, when you fall off the ladder.... and nobody cares.... LOL!!! Classic Pa Mac. 😍
We all laughed so hard when that happened. 2020 I’m coming to see you! 2019 is already booked.
Thank you, Beth. We look forward to seein' you then!
They actually DO care, Saint Coemgen...
...they're just used to it.
Thank you for watchin'
This business venture was the perfect fit for you and your wife! Love how your keeping the ways of old alive and passing it on to the next generation, thats what a wise man does!
Come by and see us some time, Mr.McGoover!
The store looks awesome, the whole area looks just stunning, so much to do there......I could spend hours in a store like that and come out broke !! a real trip back in time, for the better in this case...wish you lots of success with the venture, with all the work and effort put in and attention to detail you definitely deserve it.
I've watched all of your videos with my wife , she passed a couple years ago but I still watch them over and over it's really fun and relaxing for me , I love every show I'm from the east Tennessee around the Appalachians and love and enjoy the outdoors and the old-time farm ways , my Papaw taught me a lot of farming cause he raised me and was with me a lot of my life thanks for the fond memories
Hello there, William, and thank you so much for watchin'! I'm always glad to hear when people have enjoyed the show. You live in one of my favorite areas of the nation, and I enjoy going there on those now rare occasions that my family pries me away for a vacation. Many of us owe a lot to our parents and grandparents for instilling in us the love of nature and hard work. I pray for you the best and don't hesitate to comment again some time!
When I grow up I want my workshop to be as spectacular as yours.
OMG!! I love it!! Im always watching out for a new video from you! And sooo happy to finally see Mrs Pa Mac in one!! And... were those your daughters? Love love love it! We are retiring next year and will be doing rv traveling😃 gonna look up your little town and store!👍🏻
That is awesome, really really cool, totally by accident we just seen a video of you talking. My wife asked me what I was watching and she was sleeping I told her you’ll never believe it Pa Mac is talking. She actually got up and came over to see you talk.
Love your show
Luke & Aliesha
Tell your wife two things for me: Thanks for gettin up to watch, and I'm sorry I interrupted perfectly good sleep. Y'all take care, Luke!

😂😅
Will do.
I’ve been watching your videos for the past few years and I gotta say you are one of my favorites. The amount of effort you put into these videos is astonishing, how do you not have more subs? They are entertaining and educational at the same time, what else can you ask for? Now you even have a store? If I’m ever down by Arkansas I’ll definitely stop by! Good luck with the shop and the farm! Take as much time as u need for the next video, it’s always worth it!
Those are very kind and appreciated words, Salty Bread. Thank you so much for watchin' these past years!
I wish I could give this video more than one thumbs up. I found myself going to push it about a dozen times. That looks like a blast to visit.
Such a cool place. You can stay in there for over an hour just to see all the different things they have .
on top of being a talented craftsman, he is a great video editor also :-)
❤️🥰❤️ I love your store!!! Treats, antiques, quilts and jams… I found everything I had been looking for on our trip. (I literally came with an antique store shopping list. 😂) I could spend a whole day in there.
Excellent video, good place for a fun getaway. Thanks for sharing with us, going to look into this for sure.👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful garden. Very interesting looking plants.
Not many reasons I wanna leave Alaska, but now I got a reason to visit Arkansas. Thanks for the great videos!
Looks very quaint and comfy, thanks Pa.
Great place , you and your family's hard work is bearing fruit . Great video 👍🇬🇧
Fantastic! We'll have to come visit one day. That front porch looks just right.

Well thank you for sharing that video with us God bless you family and friends gorgeous place hope to stop there someday.👍👍👍👍👍
Love your store and love your sweet family even more! ❤️❤️❤️ This is Misty, by the way! Matt said you came in the store and talked to him . I have been binge watching all your stuff! 🤣
Well, thank you Misty.
Look forward to seein' yall!
Wow, you guys did a great job on the shop and I love the little back rental. The whole thing is like a peaceful step back in time. I wish we were quite a few states closer so we could come visit. And I have to say, you make me laugh. Quite the fun jokester!! Keep it up!
Hello from Collinwood Tennessee nice store 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏼
My favorite segment was the garden scene where ya see two little crossed sticks with the most important message anyone will ever hear painted on the front. It's at 7:37 if anyone is interested.
I heartily agree, EdOfTheNorth.
Thank you for pointin' that out.
Wow, good eye!
Praise Jesus. God bless from Canada
That is awesome
One thing that always worried me in regards to US folks was the fact that being a young nation (when compared to any European one) certain aspects of historical value were never preserved. Be it cars, be it land marks, be it folklore, be it oral traditions. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of museums and research societies dedicated to that but quite a lot of history has slipped by, people getting old, stories being lost. It brings me immense joy to see stuff like this, old corners of the world that look and behave and exist within a time frame, with the intent of preserving the past for those that come after us.
You're singin' my song, aserta!
Thanks as always for watchin' and commentin'
Your creative, inspiring, informative and downright entertaining video's are the BEST!
Congratulations on the opening of the store/vacation rental! We really appreciate all of your hard work and the richness it adds to our lives. Warmest regards!
Im from NE Arkansas , love this state, love your store, if I'm ever your way will stop in. Love the video.
Looks a grand job cheers for sharing and good luck from across the pond
I recognized many of those sites...and your store....I'll try to visit in the future.
WOW! So that's what y'all 've been up to. Finally! A really good reason to visit Arkansas, some day.😉
So nice to see your videos again and best of luck on your new venture! This is a really nice place you got there. Pierre from NH by way of Israel.
I couldn't help but chuckle at 3:13 when you had the Apple Computer in there with all that old school stuff...Always enjoy your videos and neat to see the family in this one!
I cut corners in many ways, but there's three rules I live by:
1) Find a good wife,
2) Buy a good chainsaw,
3) Use a good computer
Always good to hear from you, Happilyretiredmark!
We stayed in the old Caddo Gap bank building next door to the mercantile. If you want somewhere quiet and peaceful to stay while in the area , I recommend Caddo gap.. It's just such a neat little old community.
I use to goto this store as a kid to get ice cream when camping.headed that way next week going to swing by and bring my kids and check it out. Glad it reopened.
We're goin' back to winter hours beginning this week, Thomas. (Open Fri and Sat only, 10 am till 4) Hope to see y'all!
you should add a website to buy things, like the whirly gig thingy, id buy 1 or 2 of 'em. great job love your videos hope to come see your store some day!
As a child I used to go to Canada to go swimming every summer. I think I've been in that store before. My grandmother would have loved it. It seems like the people in Santa Fe that I know would go nuts.
Instead of Canada should be kado Gap gosh I hate spell correct.
I had just subscribed and then looking at your channel page found this video. I didn't realize that you were in Arkansas. I grew up about 35 miles due north of you in the big town of Blueball.
Well doggies! I believe you’re gonna make a go of it in town. You city fellers got some right smart ideas.
I’m most impressed your family decided to be in the video! Good luck from NW Arkansas in the Ozarks!
What a lovely town you have, and your mercantile/holiday home is perfect! Thanks for sharing it with us!
What a fun video. Makes me want to run on over to Arkansas for sure. ~Sherrie in South Carolina
Congratulations on the wonderful purchase! I wish you all the best!

CONGRATULATIONS on your new venture! The store, and area look incredible! Best wishes and much success!
I’ve watched most of your videos Pa Mac and I have to say I’ve enjoyed them. I’m in Pennsylvania but my mother is originally from Arkansas city and my grandpa Greene lived in pine bluff. I have relatives in Benton and also in Bentonville. I haven’t been down since ‘93 or so but I’ll be going back at some point. I’ll be sure to visit and say hi and maybe we’ll talk about your Pa Mac too. Thank you for your efforts and I’m now inspired to build a pole barn.
Thanks so much for watchin, SGE Repairs. If you're ever back in the area, please stop by the mercantile (and let me know you're comin!)
@@farmhandscompanion I’ll be sure to do that. Lookin forward to it
Gary may you and yours have all of he success with your endeavors.👍
I never thought I would have a reason to visit Arkansas, but I think your whirly gig gave me the kick in the pants that I needed.
If I'd known that, I would have built 'em sooner, M.
Thanks to you and everyone else for the kind comments
Congrats on the new endeavor. I wish you great luck and success with the store and rental. Maybe I will get a chance to head down that way and visit one day.
Awesome! Great idea Pa Mack! I love your show. Although, I wouldn't mind to hear you speak. Lol. God bless, you and your family.
You can go here to hear talkin', Clarence: ua-cam.com/video/5BixA5v9eIo/v-deo.html
I have some bad memories associated with AR. Maybe I should stop in and make some good one. God bless Pa Mac!
We'll sure do our best to help you with that, Scott! Please stop on in when you get a chance!
Wishing you great success!!!
Merica 🇺🇸
This looks like a great store, Pa Mac. I'd love to visit someday...
Enjoyed the video. Really appreciated getting to know you. Be passing through again anytime CO2 is needed south of Fayetteville.
I always look forward to seein' you come in, Mark!
Nice area, we live around McRae. Our son went to college in arkadelphia.
I live outside of Shreveport, LA and have a daughter that goes to Camp Ozark every summer. We drive through Caddo Gap on the way. I hope you will be open when I pass through this summer so I can check out your new store. Thanks for all of the great videos!
Just make sure you're passin' through on a Friday or Saturday from 10 to 4 and we'll look forward to seein' you!
Well, I always suspected you were close by. Howdy from over in Pine Ridge near the Lum 'n Abner store! Been watching your videos for years now.
Hilarious 🤣👍✌️and amazing creativity too 👏👏👏
I remember a guy named teddy ran that store when I was a kid. Everywhere u walked in that store the floor would creek. The store reminded me of the store off the Waltons or the Olson's mercantile off little house on the prairie
Wow what a great looking place. I am retiring this summer so it goes on the list of vacation spots. I don't know how you have the time to do it all. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck, looks like a friendly place to visit and I just might do just that !
I hope you do, Daniel. Look forward to seein' you
Nice store. I still think about a bed and breakfast/store in northern Michigan. Maybey somedayit will happen.
Hmm, I was planning to visit a few of the crystal mines this summer. Looks like I'll have to stop at your shop too.
We look forward to seein' you, ElGatoLoco698.
Thank you for watchin'
That looks so amazing. We are from Ohio and just started homesteading a couple years ago, but if we ever get time and opportunity for a family vacation trip, we would love to visit. I hope your place can fit a family of 12!
Come on down, Faithful Nation. At least five of you would sleep like kings, but there's plenty of floor space for some comfy air mattresses or sleeping bags if you've got em. Thanks for watchin'!
@@farmhandscompanion Thanks for the reply! God-willing, we will get down there one day. We are very thankful to God for your work for his kingdom. Blessings in Christ, brother.
You are quite a character. Your humor and videos crack me up.
Thank you for watchin', Gary
Ha ha ha, absolutely loved your video. You’re an excellent maker of good funny and learning videos. Very pleasing. Glad things are going well for you. God bless you and your family.
Thank you, Donna. May God bless you as well!
Oh noooo….we stayed in Mount Ida & Hot Springs last summer & I didn’t know about your store. Would have definitely dropped in. We drove right through Caddo Gap. 😔
It does explain when my property looks so much like yours. We live in northeast Oklahoma and I told my daughters that your rocks look like our rocks..and the same plenty of them. 😂
Greetings neighbor (almost). We are in Hot Springs Village and your Mercantile is on our list to visit this spring. I hope that hail storm that tore through Mount Ida last night missed you guys in Cado Gap. It sure tore up things in Mt Ida, or so I am told. Another great video. Made my day. Thanks for sharing it with us. Regards, Frank & Annie
Thanks as always, Frank and Annie; hope to see yall soon!
That looks amazing!
Wife and I came by the store yesterday(May 30th) and spent some time talking to your wife. Hope to meet you one day and talk about pole barns. I started my pole barn after watching the vids on yours. Enjoying the book on trees also.
Please do drop by again, James. I look forward to meetin' you both!
I wish you had Red Vines in the candy case. When I was a kid they were sold at a penny each and sold out of an open box.
Fantastic video, thanks
Very cool. I really enjoy your videos.
Best of luck with the business venture sir!
Thanks for sharing, best wishes on your adventure
Great looking place ya have there! I'm your distant neighbor, (really distant lol) up here in NW Arkansas, near Eureka Springs! We'll be sure to stop by n say howdy the next time we're in the neighborhood!
Hello from Eureka........Montana (extreme N/W corner)...enjoy watching Pa Mac....as quite a few here are "ol' timey" survivors also (myself included). Good stuff Vern.
I live almost 6hrs straight above you in MO. Would love to bring my family to come see yall sometime. My husband wants to see your barn!
Y'all come on down some time this year. Would love to meet you all.

I knew you were close to that area from watching your videos. The family and I will swing by and say hello sometime and chat whenever we can. We have family all down that way and actually went to church a few times over by that statue when my uncle preached there.
Swing on by, JClaudII. I look forward to seein' yall!
