4:30, it’s a 2.5 Liter. It was new for the 2020 sonata. It’s a part of their new smartstream engines that are dual and port injected. It used to be the 2.4 liter, which was around forever. I love the new sonata, and I would definitely trade in my 18’ Sonata for it, it feels more substantial than accord and Camry and the new gen has been fairly reliable. You definitely need to try the N-Line sometime with the 2.5t. It is the fastest in its segment, and 35-36k. and the displays are configurable, with the guages etc, and lots of features, I could tell you were called in to review without notice lol. The steering wheel badge is the Morse code for H. Great review!

The SEL doesn't come with the 1.6 turbo or hire is it structured?

@@occckid123for 2024, they discontinued the 1.6. Only 2.5, 2.5T, and the 1.6 Hybrid for the Limited.

@@occckid123the 1.6 definitely had more torque, they shouldn’t have gotten rid of it.

Thank you! How many cars do you have, lol?! I wasn't a fan of the design or the ride. Too soft and bouncy for my taste, made me feel a little car sick, even as a driver. Also, so many different brand design ideas put altogether into one car. I'm sure the the N-Line has better acceleration, since it has a turbo, but I doubt it will be anything much different from the Accord V6 in terms of performance. I do prefer the Altima 2.0T in most regards, especially the handling. I was just passing by their dealer and saw the new Sonata and figured to film it. I did see the different gauge options.

I am sooo sad that in canada we dont get the fully digital display for the preffered-trend. I would've seriously considered it if it had that. The two LCDs with pixels don't convince me

The sonata n line is something you just gotta review and try out. I test drove one it’s definitely a lot more interesting.

@@DMCarReviews but it’s super fun and exciting to drive. Idk why. They definitely came to compete with that car. The exhaust is crazy. The shifts are almost European like.

I have trust issues with Hyundai after all the engine failure drama. If that was different I would buy this car.

The good thing is: they have a really good warranty, and their new engines seem to be quite reliable. The smartstream engines are pretty nice, too
