There's a live studio gig did some yeats back and in their first song, This House Is A Circus, Nick nailed everything while doing backing vocals. That song's bass is actually fast, so even if it's repetitive, it's still amazing how he could sing through that song.

I got a bass a month ago. Just learnt A Certain Romance and Mardy Bum from your other videos, this is next! This channel is phenomenal btw, learning any AM track ids a breeze.
I just came here to steal/figure out some of the bass riff to juice up the guitar riff a bit. Playing the guitar riff solo is super basic. Sounds much better now doing every 2nd or 3rd repeat just hitting the C# and B on th G string just before the same notes in the main riff the A string. Thanks
I do not play bass my self , I'm a backing singer and play guitar at the Same time , sort of what Jamie cook does in Arctic monkeys and this is amazing !! Keep it up !

/6 - means slide from somewhere to 6th fret. In this case not the note is the important thing, but the slide...So just flow with the music and slide 2 or 3 frets up. :)
