people have petty differences when we are young, not realizing how petty they are until we are too old to go back and claim that which was perfect just the way it was. Their music has been a gentle and kind healing thing for millions of people for so long and yet, for a time, they couldn't heal their own differences so they could continue to save us. What is the bottom line really? The real core truth is that they both love to make music and together they were magic. Why cant that be enough.

This is probably the worst S&G performance I've heard. Not meant to be performed this way with eight million people on stage with out of tune guitars and probably a bad monitor mix. It's almost horrible.
Diane Bingham I think Artie was disgusted with how they had to perform under these circumstances. He is a perfectionist & always wants his singing to be top notch & I respect him for that. I could see from the expression on his face & when he took off his jacket that he was very annoyed. Paul’s attitude didn’t help either - wouldn’t even look at Artie. He deserves much better than this. We love you Artie!! 💕💕
It's so bad it's funny! The Boxer sounded better - perhaps Paul's guitar helped him stay relatively in tune. You would think this kind of event would have had better acoustics or at least those special speaker thingies that shoots your voice back at you so you can actually hear yourself. Anyway, this was very entertaining!
When those two sing together, nobody dares make a sound. Music at its best.

I don't think they could hear themselves (no monitors). In those days, rrhof was more a jam session than a concert.
