2 Days in Victoria BC | Taking a High-Speed Ferry to Canada

- We took the Victoria Clipper, which is a passenger only ferry from Seattle, WA to Victoria BC Canada on Vancouver Island for a weekend getaway. The ferry takes about 3 hours to reach Victoria and drops you off in the inner harbor, at the doorstep to many local attractions. We stayed at the Fairmont Empress and made reservations for afternoon tea there. We also took a trip to Butchart Gardens, which is a must see.

No way! You were here! Victoria is nice, but next time bring the teardrop and go further. Us Islanders love camping and exploring the quirky places in Parksville, Coombs, and Tofino, and we would love to be your tour guides.
Yaas!! This sounds amazing! Definitely on the list!
I agree! Just returned from a 2 week camping trip in an SUV. Vancouver Island has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet! The trees, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and mountains are amazing and you are so lucky to be an Islander.
Yes, camping in the summer is where it's at, simple because the 3 months of summer is surrounded by 9 months of rain on Vancouver Island. Save the museums and indoor stuffs for a rainy day. You have 270 days of it!
😂😂😂 so true
Looks like a cool place to visit. Very informative and great camera work, super clear, another great video!
Thanks Don!!
😁. It’s great to see you guys in the city I work and live! Next time you’ll have to bring the teardrop and explore all the amazing places on the island….. Tofino is definitely a must!
Definitely bringing the trailer next time!! Hear only good things about the island 👍🏻
Victoria has the absolute best Highland Games
Definitely need to check this out!!
Great job ! Thanks
Thanks! 👍🏻
Great video!
Thanks homie!
You missed the Bucharts Gardens at night! .... and at Christmas, the Seven Days of Christmas. You have to come back!
Deal!!!
Hi . Love your video . Lots of infos . Thanks. Can I have the address of this hotel you are staying ?
It's the Fairmont Empress
13:20 great clear view
Where's Wiseman, this is a really nice series of clips you put together of riding the ferry. How long did it take to render this video?
I also really like how you narrated the video and it flows so well. I subscribed to your channel.
I really want to ride the Clipper sometime. It goes so fast! I can't believe it can carry 525 people and goes 36 knots!
I would greatly appreciate if you check out my recent BC Ferries videos by the way :)
Thanks for the support!! Maybe 30 minutes?? Will check it out!
@@WheresWiseman Oh I see. 30 minutes is not bad, considering the great quality the video is in. Would you recommend any modifications to the microphone while riding the Clipper on the sundeck at top speeds?
Haha! Yes, don't even try lol. Definitely need a mic cover/dead cat
@@WheresWiseman Yeah I am going to buy a deadcat windshield for my pic. Such amazing technology the Clipper is to go that fast though.
Do you need a passport? What documents do you need to travel there and back?
Yes, you just need a passport. No covid docs.
Note, bring pruner.
🤣
Nice (giggity)
🤣 was wondering how many would see that 🤘🏻
clipper is so pricey
Agreed!!!
