It says a lot about Sweet Maries that you took the time and effort to make a video endorsing a product that SM doesnt carry or really benefit from. Your company is inspiring. Thank you for all you do. 🎉🎉

Seems like a lot of money for a setup that is very cumbersome, although it is a very nice looking machine and seems well made. I'm sure you can make great coffee with it but you can also do that with roasters a fraction of the cost that have a much smaller footprint.

The lack of control with some of the more crude roasting methods can accidentally broaden one's horizons. If not stumbling on a new profile that you like, finding out what you dont like. Something like a popper also has small enough batches that there's relatively little investment in experimentation.

This can be ordered through Crop to Cup out of Brooklyn NY. I saw a showroom model of one down there. Very nice machine. $2350.00 will give you a kit with all the bells and whistles except for the variac of course.

Although it is a nice machine, I cannot justify spending 2400 bucks when I can make 5 payments on my Outback or two mortgage payments with the same money. It's just what I think, but how other people manage their resources is none of my concern.

I had a Behmore. The only thing it did was bake my coffee. You would be better off with the Gene Cafe even though it is a pain in the butt to operate on when things break down.

On my Hottop, I typically only roast 195 grams. The Huky can easily handle twice as much - very nice! I've considered the Huky a reasonable upgrade path to roast larger quantities. The only thing missing is the ability to control the roast from my laptop. I bought an arduino and TC4C board to control roasts on my Hottop.

Hello Thanks for the video. Do you know if the Huky 500T has a USB connection? is it possible to roast with a program and profiles?

There isn't a USB connection. Most users that want to profile their roasts will use a K-Type thermometer and roasting software like Artisan.

It's called a Phidget and most folks buy the 4 input sensor.

Unfortunately, we don't sell them but you can check if they are still available by emailing Kuanho Li in Taiwan. kuanho.li@gmail.com.

We recommend asking the manufacturer, Mr. Kuanho Li from Taiwan. He does not have a website, so the only way to reach him is via email (kuanho.li@gmail.com). Here's more info on the Huky forum. www.hukyowners.com/t/looking-to-purchase-a-huky/45

Background noise issues and volume level differences between the two guys make this video unbearable.
