I kind of wish the lvl 1,2,3 assassination speed is tied to the gear your wear rather than Tanto lvl. I miss the more brutal and less efficient animations half way through the story. Good thing you can still see the lvl.2 ones in Legends mode when you play as Samurai, but not lvl.1 ones. edit: the fact that they made finisher animations for every possible attacks show how much they care about the quality of the game. They could've done the Assassin's Creed Origins/Odyssey route where the enemies just fall over in ragdoll and reserve fancy looking execution only for the last enemy ,or AC Valhalla where there are some janky-looking finishers, but they decided to go the extra mile. Can't wait to see how impressive every animation looks in Yotei.
Imagine a mod where you can equip a hood and a hiddenblade mod for tanto assassination (likely impossible lol) then it has become a full AC game Although even without hoods and hidden blades this one still feels like ac more than rpg ones lol✌️😆
