Fr. Leonard, you are my favorite priest of all. I so miss your homilies! One of which gave me the hope and foundation to overcome my severe PTSD. I was blessed to watch your ordination, clearly remembering the joyous look on your father's face. It seems that anytime you're being broadcast on EWTN, ou're speaking directly to me. My body is too old and feeble to travel to Irondale from Arizona but how I wish I could meet you. Keep in mind that your adopted Auntie JJ loves you and is praying for you. Thank you Father , your encouragement in ways to pray was great. I pray daily with Mass on you tube and chaplet and rosary as well. So helpful to pray with others . More discipline for my scripture readings in my Bible I need to as well . Yes I pray when traveling as traffic is very busy and prayers as God leads me as well through the holy Spirit . With COVID stay at home my prayer life has definitely increased and been a blessing for me. As I also pray for others too. Since my transportation is limited due to use of walking cane and walker . And vehicle need of repairs . The use of you tube had been such a blessing for me at home. At times able to attend church with rides from my cousin she drives a car. So I can receive communion .and confession as well. Sacrament s are very important to me . As well as God's forgiveness when I fall short of call for me. Forgives my sin. So yes helpful ways to pray was useful .
Than you, Fr. Leonard. Great tips on prayer. I have been going to UA-cam, I confess, to pray, especially when it's 3am and I cannot seem to sleep. I find the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and sing with them for a couple of hours, which changes my focus from myself to The loving Heart Of Jesus. And I have found the Rosary Gregorian Chant, which I must admit I have not yet confidently learned, but it brings so much inner peace. I found the Saint Benedict Medal Prayer, which I pray often. It has helped me grow closer to being the child of God I want to be. I am thankful for your talk because you brought up a couple of things I have not tried yet. God bless you. Oh, and your Homilies have often been a blessing to me and I thank God for that, and for your faithful heart to His call to you.

Hello Fr. Leonard. I enjoyed your explanation of how to improve our prayer lives. But - yes I have a " but", lol - I found the background music to be intrusive and distracting. For me no music in the background would've worked better. Thank you for everything you friars do for us. I've enjoyed the many Inside and Outside of the friary episodes! Pax et Bonum
I have a crucifix and the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on one side of the crucifix and on the other side, an image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary but simply a crucifix is all you need to make a place sacred to commune with God who is love.
