Welcome back to the Isle of Man and the second part of our Douglas walk.
Today we walk Douglas the capital town of the island.
Starting where part one finished at the Sea Terminal, we take a stroll by the lovely North Quay with its lovely old buildings and sailboats.
Moving on into the town centre, past the George Formby memorial into the shopping area, before finally making our way onto the promenade and this time walking northwards towards Onchan.
It’s a very cloudy, windy day, but luckily once again we escape the rain.

This just popped upon my feed....i am from Li colnshire wolds but spent 30 years travelling to the isle of man for work....fabulous place, off back in July to see Southern 100.

This is a cool and charming town, lovely buildings. It's a nice route to walk along the canal.

Thank you for a very lovely tour of the island. This would be a wonderful place to visit. Interesting to learn of the history and that they teach the Celtic language still in school. It’s so charming around the town and I really enjoyed the walk and talk!👍😊🇨🇦

Hi again Mouse thanks for this look around Douglas. I Iiked the 1896 tram wheel and Jubilee Clock Tower , they were cool to see and I learnt today that there was an airport there! Such a nice place and I really like the seaside walk. The town seemed really quiet which I'm guessing is the time of year if North Wales is anything to go by or else it was early morning :) Enjoyed that look around thanks Mouse 💕
