@@malcolmlarri8236 I was really worried watching that
Saw him with Gambale in Chi. It was amazing. Love Bozzio on Rudess’ album.
@@eltonester6531 same here I was so shocked when I saw him but so glad he's doing good
GOD IS GOOD ALWAYS...OF COURSE OUR WAYS IS NOT HIS WAYS OR VICE VERSA...🔥🙏👑🕊️
Dennis Chambers and Terry Bozzio two of the world's greatest drummers of all time!!! Thank you Don Lombardi!!!
Thank the Lord we still have Dennis. He’s really a “musician’s” drummer. Great to see Terry as well.
I am very glad to see Dennis looking healthy again. ❤️😎
It’s so great to see Dennis looking strong and healthy again. I know he’s had a tough time with his health and I’m keeping everything crossed that he’ll be back on the drums making amazing music again soon.
Terry is also a lovely, humble guy and a monster drummer not to be underrated.
👌🏻👍🏻
First thing I thought, good to see he has recovered. Drumming is less important…
I went backstage one time for steely Dan and Dennis Chambers was the drummer. He came up to a friend of mine and I was standing there and he just started talking it was like he was part of the road crew he was so down to earth he knew I played drums and my friend played drums I'll never forget that day. What a great guy. Met Terry Bose you a few times again just a great guy
In love Steely Dan and all these people they were talking about what about Tony Williams
Thank you Dennis for inspiring me to become a drummer at the age of 6. I’ve be an admirer and huge fan of yours for the last 34yrs.
I was about 15 when Dennis came to my country to do a clinic, I was beyond impressed untill this day, I'm 46 years old now and I have never forgotten that day. I started listening more Jazz and Fusion because of Dennis. Later I was introduced to Terry and it Happened again, I was extremely impressed by his playing. I have dreamed to play Terry's Kit and watching Dennis playing it was super fun. I look up to both Dennis and Terry, it was really special to see you together on this video. Thanks to all !!! Greeting from Chile.
Thank you all so much for making this happen.
I can hear these guys talk drums all day🙌🏼
Saw Dennis play at a small club in Boston during his first tour with Scofield in 1986- he was a force! He turned a crash cymbal inside out by hitting it so hard on the last tune!
Both legends but to see sir dennis keep on complementing the great bozzio, just makes me smile and proud to be part of the drumming community!
Wow, when Dennis Started to play his Grooves. I felt Life was groovy. Both these cats mean so much to American History. Yes!
Will never forget our favorite musicians my friend when you said that that one hit me to
Dennis looks great! Great interview.
Love seeing Dennis laugh and looking healthy!
Great to see Dennis looking so well x
Just love listening to passionate musicians talk!
I love this beyond imagination I am in awe of these two guys together like brothers
What, where's Terry Bozzio? Darn!!! I can't believe it's been 10 years since I played drums. Wow!!! Time flies!!
2 of my many drumming heroes!!! 🙂
I love both of them
Hey thank you for a super video just watch this and thank you guys for your beautiful contribution for music I've listened to both of your musics as a kid I'm 53 now I live in Reseda and I got bus to La so you can imagine what kind of music I was into everything from Jazz to Funk to punk to rock we love you guys hope everyone's well in this most unbelievable time
Both of you guys have just played with phenomenal artist which make you phenomenal drummers over and over again thank you glad I was into all those great groups thank you
Que bien ver tan recuperado a Dennis Chamber’s
So great to see Dennis and Terry talking about their experiences. Definitely enjoyed that a lot!
Wow, DC and Terry, are you kid' me !!! :o
Two REAL f... Legends !!!
Can't help but thinking about the GREAT damages Terry played on "Heavy Metal Bebop", and Big DC on "Pick It Live", geez !!!
Thanks you so much guys for so much endless inspiration, right on.
Still looking good Dennis & Terry , God bless !!
Dennis is a drummer's drummer! I'm glad he's still here! Terry is a creative scientist! This is great!
Great video once more! Thank you Don and the cats at drum channel. Unbelievable legends and idols for generations! All the best and keep it up 😉
Dennis looks great! So happy for him🙏
I truly love this! 2 legends talking about music and memories! You can’t beat this!
i once complimented JP Gaster the drummer from CLUTCH on his grooves reminding me of something dennis chambers might come up with if he played hardrock/bluesrock and he was soo happy about that compliment
Hey Terry I like your artwork and love the missing persons
I love this . Used to read all those interviews with musicians back when we only had those but is this truly the best evolving from that.
Learned so much from it. Musicians have been to the most crazy of places and experience adventures normal people couldn't even imagine sometimes and have awesome stories.. That thing Dennis said about "there's something about bands", that's the thing. That shaped me as a musician and I believe that's what shapes every musician the best way.
I had been met them 92-93 At Musicians Institute, They are Incredible and My Favourite Drummer💕🙏
Terrifically inspiring this conversation.
Awesome! Love those guys dearly, they had huge influence on me! Thanks for this upload!
So excited to watch this interview. Drumming is a lifestyle and these two guys have been in my life since day one of my playing. You guys are awesome! 👍🥁👍DC
US drag is one funky ass beat by Terry. One of the funkiest of all times.
Dennis looks really good - God bless!
Awesome pairing here. Dennis looks really great!
Three Greats!!
Two of my biggest inspirations and I’ve had the immense pleasure of seeing both perform live multiple times. This was awesome
Thank you for this! Terry’s playing on The Brecker Brothers’ Heavy Metal Bebop album is phenomenal. As did Dennis on The Brecker brothers Live in Spain video.
Such a great interview...tons of knowledge
2 absolute masters just shooting the $#it
Both these drummers are Legend. But Dennis Chambers to me has always been the complete package.Terry is beyond words himself, but in his own words, only a few have it, And Dennis Chambers is that one. They both show incredible practiced X 20 drum chops and skills, but Dennis has that edge....
Terry's playing with Frank Zappa stands on its own. Baby Snakes as Dennis relates. Blew him away. That's hard to do. Thanks for the great interview.
Great great drummers. Very cool !!! :-)
Love it thank you!
Pfunk and zappa two of my favorites music of all time forever in my Heart and my soul
Huge thank you!!!!!!!
Fantastic interview and stories.
Great great show, thank you very much
This is such a spectacular interviews! Thank you for sharing this is dumbfounding!
I saw Dennis Chambers with Mike Stern in late 2019, just as he was making a comeback after his ill health. It was evident that his chops weren’t quite what they used to be, but he was still grooving in that way only Dennis does.
Many years ago Dennis came to Athens with John Mc Laughlin. The feeling i got {even though they played the Megaron of music } was that the Police were waiting for Dennis to end the show..and that the band was not John Mc Laughlin's band.
.Weildly enough the show ends and as i am coming out of the venue, i hear a girl saying to her boyfriend.
" Mc Laughlin is an amazing ..drummer . He blew my mind.
History keeps repeating hah?
GOD BLESS YU!
BROTHER DENNIS...YU KNOW WHO I AM...HOPE 2 SEE YU AGAIN SOON.
BLESS YOUR FAMILY AS WELL...
IT'S ALL LOVE BRO...ALL LOVE OF WHO WE ARE...🖐️
Brad Kimes, friend of George and pat Schroeder, I just wanted to say hello! I had the pleasure of Dennis coming out to watch me play years ago. He was so nice and inspiring. One of the highlights of my drumming life. Two of my favorite drummers. I appreciate you both!
First row watching Viktor Wooten's Trio with Dennis Chambers on the left(from audience)...Viktor was so close I could have de-tuned his bass....I was scared of Dennis man, behind his drum kit wearing his yellow shirt!! Viktor is just so warm that you just want to listen to what he has to say. Dennis gets in a zone and that's it!! It just takes you.
Legends!
I was in one of those Holdsworth, Levin Mastolatto shows in Zoetermeer NL. I stole the poster afterwards and kept it on my wall for years now.
Grazie a questi due mostri sacri della batteria, ma soprattutto fa piacere vedere che Dennis si sia ripreso in salute!
i'm a piano player and i was very influence by jonnhy guitar watson way of playing the piano , there is one album where he plays " when did you leave heaven "and some swing , it's smoking a beautifull album
Sooooo great thanks!
Grady Tate..glad Terry mentioned him. GET Jimmy Smith and Wes Montgomery’s The Dynamic Duo. The first song Down By The Riverside shows how his swing is one the BADDEST swinging grooves on record!!!!!!
Fine conversation between two giants
Thanks for posting, food for the soul.
I love this interview.
I laughed out so loud at the Will Power part that I think even my neighbors heard me 😂
Wonderful.
Best wishes from Croatia guys!
I went to see Jethro Tull back in the day. The back up bands drummer scared the living daylights out of me. I thought who in the heck is this monster drummer and who is this band.
It was the band UK and the drummer was Terry Bozzio. If I remember correctly the first song they played was Danger Money. Anyone familiar with UK knows what a killer band that was.
Yes. I got into them when I heard the U.K. Live album. Then I went back and checked U.K. when Bruford played for them. Must say, Terry just upped the game with his energy and double bass. A VERY underrated band!
Having youtube alone doesn't help, if there is nobody to tell you, what to look for... this is, what I see with the kids today
You should listen to Bozzio´s `Cairo` composition, it´s my favorite and it shows what´s possible to play on drums
Very Interesting comments in the first 4 mins!. The very 1st time I saw Dennis, Buddy Rich Memorial, 1987. I was Literally Scared! I have been telling that story for 30 yrs. Never heard anyone else say that till now.
"Let me see your Paradiddles"!...ha, Great Vid & Great Job here!
Yes, Dennis is correct, you have to learn the basics or fundamentals of music and serve the song before playing a dazzling solo.
Every comment here has just such an amazing story musically wise this is unbelievable I also live in Reseda which was right around the corner from the garage Frank Zappa
I also went to this elementary school around the corner here a neighbor which was my friend in elementary school which his father was one of the bass player for Frank Zappa his name was Danny Wally
Saw Dennis with John Scofield.Saw Terry with Jeff Beck,Polytown, and Hobo LeMa.
I’m happy Dennis looks great.
Interesting to hear Billy Cobham and Buddy Rich in the same sentence - reminded me that back in the 70’s Buddy said Billy Cobham wasn’t all that and Carl Palmer was the greatest new drummer he’s heard and anybody can play double bass like Cobham
2 giants of the drums...
Gracias por esto
Wow!
Dennis looks great!! Terry looks .... different!
I like Dennis’s sweatshirt, but don’t like Terry’s headphones.
Dennis remember the night at the 8x10 with the B3 tour when you jammed with Billy Sheehan out of the audience? I was standing next to you. Special night
Interesting facts: Terry is 8 years older than Dennis
Guy just sits down and proceeds to own Bozzio's Beast Kit.
Terry " Bosio " Bozzio pride of Genova 🏴❤️
ALPHONSE MOUZON!!!! NEVER GETS HIS PROPERS. RIP
I live in the next town over from Randallstown
Two incredible musicians who've actually done it rather than the raft of Internet 'sensations' doing front flips off a stool etc
Drummers should know their role and support the MUSIC FIRST!!!! Dennis is right. Music first. If you can’t play the music, then why are you there behind the kit.
Also to all those musicians that have passed away sorry my friend 🌹sending out condolences to all the people that have passed away in 2019-2020 2021 and 2022 covid-19 the most evil thing done in the history of our lifetime
Drum gods talking.... Ddddeeeeyyyymmmm
Hahaha I remember buying albums that smelled like pineapples!
grosso!
C'mon, Terry. How could you forget Ike "Thing-Fish" Willis's name?
This is weird. I wouldn’t have recognized either of them on the webcam.
Agreed. I would never have guessed that was Terry Bozzio.
🤙🏿👍🏿🇵🇪🇪🇦
