Also a nice synergy for brawlers: The Snub Nose PPC works extremely well with SRMs and/or AC-20's. In case of the LB-20 you even have the same cooldown & range bracket :)
I liked to pair PPCs with Autocannons, or ERPPCs with Gauss, in such a way that the weapons have very similar Projectile Speed. This means you can fire the weapons simultaneously instead of having to adjust your aim for each weapon system in order to hit a moving target.
I lately turned back to mwo and saw HSL stuff, i didnt know what it was until i put 3 Heavy large lasers on Marauder IIC 2 and didnt get heat penalty, and I put 7 ton targeting computer for memes )))))
Depends on when and where you are going to engage The targeting computer will give you range and power where as the heat sinks will give you dps per HEAT If you are going to snipe then the range and damage and info will do well for you You are going to pick your shots and you probably aren’t going to be doing it rapid enough to build heat (ppc/er large laser) Heat sinks are going to help you with Damage per second PER HEAT. I’m short range brawls that you get into with PUGS because they don’t understand tactics that’s what matters How much damage you can do per unit of heat so you can dps when the other guy overheats or getting another cycle into them while they are cooling down to not overheat This effects pulse lasers and snub ppc I don’t know if the META changed from when this was made but dps per heat per cycle typically goes to stacking smaller pulse lasers Stock s pulse will out dps/heat m pulse because the cycle time allows you to get the same damage out in shorter amounts of time if you can hit your shots The only drawback is the range. But once again in Quick Play PUGS that’s probably where you are going to be if not in a missile boat

Oh, I never noticed that the weapons are colored differently, depending on the distance to the target in the crosshairs.
TTB is always teaching me things I never knew
C-Micro Pulse Laser! *Never forget the forgotten*
And great video for beginners, already one before me that learned something.
Great guide thank you
Thanks for the weapons guide!
Nice guide. Also the snapshots of various builds very handy. Glad to see how to build the Flea you said buy lol

Light PPC has the shortest cooldown - consider it when you are a true streaker.
Really appreciate this type of content. Masters apprentices
Thanks for the vid TTB.
Great guide as allways TTB! I have to ask, did you make allready a video on your favorite assaults ? I cannot ifnd it on your channel

Ty for the big brains!
Realistically speaking I always wondered why mechs use ballistic weapons when energy weapons exist
Only thing to add is IS PPC HSL is 3, not 2 :)
Are targeting computers worth it? in this case, more heat sinks is better, so would a targeting comp be worth trading a [double] heat sink for?

good tutorial
How relevant is this to mw5? Did they change anything between the two games?
Why ERPPC vs. ER Large laser?
How do you get your UI scaling? My shit is so small (I run native 1440) that i can barely read the stuff.
ui elements change in size based on what resolution you select
Chose:
-"what it sounds/looks like", or
-"how it looks/sounds"
The form
- *"how it looks/sounds like"
is ill-formed, non-idiomatic English.
