I am so impressed with Zach as an interviewer! I liked his prompts and follow-up questions. I am inquisitive myself and I liked seeing that side of Zach! Never really saw Zach as a dynamic person on LPBW so I love the podcast for that.
On the topic of social media, I just have to say that I think the main reason why people are drawn to you guys is your authenticity. Comparison is certainly an issue in that arena, but I know that I for one have never felt down after seeing one of your posts or videos or whatever. I find what you share to be very uplifting and it always leaves me feeling better and it’s because you’re being your authentic self, sharing the ups and downs of life and reminding us all that even if our lives look different or we’re in different stages and seasons, it’s all just one big human experience. Thank you for sharing your insights and self. You’re doing great!!
Just got back from Scotland …did the mini castles , pods and road tripped from Edinburg to isle of Skye etc….its so doable …. And so laid back and beautiful !!! Make it happen sis, it’s waiting on you !!!!!!
Even though I just loved Zach from the show and loved watching your relationship and wedding, this is such a great space to get to really get to know you two. Following Tori on Instagram is so fun and so real, please don't leave, but this podcast shows so much more of Zach and it's been incredible to see what a cool guy he is. I have enormous respect for both of you.
Tori and Zach you don’t need to apologize for a mess here and there. Your kids are only little once. One day you’ll look back and wish your kid’s were small again and be sad. Just live life and appreciate the small things. You both are great parents giving your children experiences and love. Love listening to you both each week. Can’t wait till you reach 100k right around the corner. Stay real and you’ll reach that million some day soon!
Iam going threw this now. My youngest will be going to college in 2 years and omg the change is hard for me. I feel so lost but happy for their growth. Thats what kids are suppose to do. Grow up and become their own person. ❤ scary still tho for a mama that worries.
I literally cackled when you said you don’t gentle parent lol 😆 I think you have to lay on the truth with your kids and sometimes you have to be more firm. I think love and logic is a great way to describe it. You can still be a kind person with your kids and not constantly have to check yourself of “am I being gentle enough”? I don’t think that raises them to be resilient, you need the tough love sometimes
@cathydenton1915 she would be great at that! Maybe that's one of her ideas. Remember she doesn't say what kinda books or what they're about. She just says she has ideas for 2 different books.
I'm so with you about staying home, I'm a HUGE homebody. My very first camera was a 35 mm Canon btw, ( aging myself now in 1975 ) I knew nothing about photography but it definitely encouraged my desire to learn all I could about it. I just began re-watching Little people big world around January and it reminded me of all those trips your family went on. They seemed endless but you all looked like you were loving it, who wouldn't? The one I enjoyed watching the most was when your family rented the catamaran, gosh that would have been wonderful to experience. You're all so blessed! :) I'm so enjoying these pod casts too! Thank you for doing them. :)
I love your podcast Zack and Tori . I’ve been been watching since you didn’t been doing it since season one. They’re doing season two. Congratulations on on season two of your podcast.
Hi Zach and Tori... I really enjoy your podcast! What a wonderful family the 5 of you make! Thanks for sharing...especially your adorable little ones. I always love to see them!!! One question: could you show final results of landscaping project...I'd love to see what you've done. Have a GREAT summer!
This was wonderful!! Tori.. mom guilt sucks..it never gets easier.. as mom's we need ro support each other. My kids are 22,21,19&17.. I'm still struggling. Tori.. you're a great mom!! You're kids are AMAZING
Oh lord! 😂 That story about Zach’s night terrors when Tori leaves in the middle of the night is hilarious! You guys had me laughing out loud at that one! 👍🏼
We met a mom and daughter while staying at a hotel in St.Pete Florida and they were on “ holiday “ from Scotland. We talked all week and after we both went back home, they invited us to visit in Scotland. We r crazy enough to just take a leap and go. Haha. I absolutely loved everything there!!!! My maiden name is Campbell and my dad always said his fam was from Scotland. I never really listened but on our trip we came up on a very old cemetery and CAMPBELL was on most of the headstones haha. Her friends even sang a song about the Campbells & the McDonalds. I was so surprised! Our friend took us shopping in Glasgow, strolling in Edinburgh, In the Highlands to see Castles, and where the Loch Ness monster supposedly lurks, train riding that went thru beautiful pastures and small towns. I hope u get to see it Tori!!!! Trip of a lifetime!
I love seeing you both as you have grown in your relationship and as parents- it isn’t easy but you two have shown us gracefully- we went to Scotland 2-3 years ago and loved it - you will too
I love the name “Raising Heights” -it reminds me of an old soap opera name or a soap opera parody’s name… “Next time on Raising Heights, will the urine on the kid’s bathroom walls cause Tori to have night terrors? Will Zac really sit at home for the rest of his life?~ Tune in to find out~ on Raisinnnnng Heights.” Back to reality, I’m enjoying the podcast, you guys are so down to earth, continued blessings to your beautiful family.
Yall are amazing..look forward to this pod every single week! Tori..”mom guilt” is a real thing no matter who you are, mine are 21 & 16..my oldest just graduated college, is doing amazing. My “baby” is doing as well..as a single mom, I’m beyond grateful & proud but you always carry that “guilt” that you could of done more of been here or there but I try to remember that they are incredible & we still have TONS of memories to make 💞
Absolutely love this podcast. Cheers to both of you for doing this and sharing your life with us. I missed both of you and you were always my favorite on the show.
I just love these podcasts, so relaxing, so loving, funny and I could watch these for hours! You both are going a great job with your kids, just love you guys!

Tori, I just have to say...I don't imagine you **just sitting** [ @05:33 ]. You're a wonderful Mom and it's such an inspiration to see you in action and to hear what you have to say about raising your children. You're amazing! ~ Blessings, Gypsy
Scotland is beautiful. You should definitely road trip around the UK so many amazing things to see and do here. You are right Zack, UK is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland 🙂

This was very cool learning more about Tori❤ She is an awesome person ✌ Hard for me to think of managing 20-30 Kindergarteners by myself all day, everyday 😂 😮 Now, THAT is Tori's SUPER POWER, especially being a sub! Three kids are a lot to manage! Go Tori 💪 😎 ✌ ❤
Mr late husband was Mexican...he loved the bagpipes and always dreamed of going to Scotland and Ireland...I imagine him in heaven surrounded by bagpipe players and festive river dancers...❤
I've homeschooled for 12 years now, and it's the very best. I've gotten so much extra time with them, they learned from me, their mama, and the myth that homeschoolers aren't socialized is so far from the truth. They are even MORE socialized than public schoolers.
It depends on the parents whether you home school or public school. If the parents aren’t engaged with their child’s education and well roundedness they won’t be socialized. It’s not about being with other children, it’s about giving them opportunities to be a good human being. Love your podcasts Zach and Tori! Praying for great success.
Glad it worked for your family. Homeschooling does not work for every child or family. Been there done that. We have two children on the Autism spectrum. Public highschool with special needs education services has helped our children so much. Daughter graduated in June; son is in grade 9.
You guys NAILED "forget the rest!" on this one. I think the pandemic made even extroverted folks tend towards being more comfortable at home. For us introverts (I'm like Zach) we turned in even more! Coupled with the demands of parenting and aging, it just makes sense. Zach, so sorry to hear of your night terrors. Those are no fun! Thanks for sharing your real selves guys, you're both very insightful.
I really enjoy visiting with you two. This is a great idea. Seem like fun people to hang out with. Your parenting shows in your children. They’re great kids!
I have owned 7 different Canon cameras... I noticed your video looks very crisp and clear today... Not that I thought it was particularly hazy or anything before, but before you mentioned a new camera, I was admiring your set and the clarity. :)
I feel you guys do a good job of showing us the good and the not so good of your lives. I certainly have a sense that you’re not perfect, none of us are. So I appreciate that about you.
I love this episode. Zach do you still have night terrors? I'm hoping not because I would be scared like Tori. Thanks for sharing the stories.. Much love and blessings to you all..
Putting a plug in for homeschooling. I was homeschooled my whole life (the latter part of it was done on TV from teachers at BJU) and now I homeschool my 4 kids. This year was the first that we used an online recorded teacher (Christian curriculum and teacher with a master's degree and very affordable, especially for siblings coming along after. These days there are SO MANY opportunities for socialization that that is not a worry for homeschoolers. I personally feel like it's best to pick a few extracurriculars and not have too many constantly keeping busy. Need family down time too.
Love watching your show. Scotland is a definite, beautiful place. I would say that as I am Scottish. We have a static caravan and if you ever come over to Scotland you are free to stay there. Just over the border of Scotland in England. :-)
Love the show!! You should pop in pictures of certain things that you guys discuss, like the kids bathroom for example. Just to follow along and enhance the show 😊
My 5 year old daughter has night terrors and honestly I feel so helpless when she does. All I can really do is hold her and comfort her, she'll wake up screaming and crying.
I had night terrors, the only advice that I can say is do not dismiss them, send her to bed without showing care & concerns. My parents just told me to go back to bed, totally dismissing my feelings. Give love and acknowledgement.
As a Mother of 3 and a Grandmother of 7, there are a couple of sayings I found important, (1) It takes a village to raise a child (children need many different influences to become well rounded, hence the need for outside activities). (2) Children are like wet cement, whatever lands on them leaves an impression (watch what you say, and how much of the world you reveal, and that especially now means the Internet - a sometimes very dangerous world). I would include violent video games, which can remove a child's joy and wonder about the world. We are in a time of great deterioration, and it is important to not get weighed down by that fact. For something new to be born, something has to be revealed to allow human consciousness to discard it's influence. To allow discernment to reveal personal choice. Everything is in process, and change follows us everywhere. ❤ Life can be very good, and if we take a perspective of necessary change, the glass looks 1/2 full, not 1/2 empty.
Love your podcast because you’re both real 😊❤ I am bilingual and I understand what Zach says the difference in tone rolling your R in Spanish is a must in certain Spanish dialectic. Mine is Castilian Spanish from Spain you can absolutely learn it Zach . I live in Texas but born and raised in California. I definitely use Spanish more so here than I did in California. My husband and I want to retire in Oregon 😍🙏🏻🙌🏻
I was the opposite...the management got crazy 10 yrs before I retired and that changed the people...always worried about being fired from the job you planned your retirement around...😢😢employees pitted against each other consistently 😢😢
@@pamelavargas6811 I am so sorry that you experienced that. I worked for a state facility for people with developmental challenges. The residents were lovely people and my co-workers were good folks. Did we have disagreements? Sure, but all in all we had a good working relationship. My biggest issue was dealing with the bureaucracy of state government and constant changes in policy.
Tori? Have you watched Men in Kilts? It’s a road trip series with the outlander boys. Sam Hughn and Graham McTavish. Made me want to go to Scotland too. Season one was Scotland and then I think they went to New Zealand in season two. Fun watch that I recommend if you have not seen it. Love the podcast. Found it today and I’m on my fourth episode. Wonderful chance to hear from your family on your own terms. Wishing you success.
9:08 I don't suppose you have time with the kids! But I am glad about the photography because any creative opportunity is good for human well-being, I think.
Hello Zack and Tori and to your beautiful children. I love watching your videos and I love listening to you both. Love ❤️ and blessings from Scotland UK. Oh I also meant to say that my pastor and his family are from Dallas USA, and they are away visiting America right now for a month.
My daughter, who has a nine-year-old daughter, just explain to me what gentle parenting is. She’s not a gentle parent her. She is much more like you guys, love and logic. You guys are great parents by the way.
So funny about traveling and crowds. I’ve always loved trips and getting out. We retired to Florida and now I just wanna be home all the time. There’s all this great seafood out there….. great Restaurants, but the waits and crowds make me eat at home. Ha. Going shopping or the thought of being out close to rush hour….. I’m a dedicated Amazon shopper now 😂
I really enjoyed your podcast.I know you said about Scotland.I live in the UK a place called Cornwall.scotland is up the top of the map and Cornwall is at the bottom of the map.Have a lovely weekend.😊
My daughter's oldest child had speech delay so she taught simply sign language...later she babysat her siblings children...sign language with little ones became a fantastic tool...even in their teens the 9 children will sign their frustrations ❤
Zach and Tori, Scotland 🏴, YES!! My husband and I are just starting to plan our trip for 2025 for our 40th anniversary. Maybe we will see ya there…😉 Love your podcast❤️
I am so impressed with Zach as an interviewer! I liked his prompts and follow-up questions. I am inquisitive myself and I liked seeing that side of Zach! Never really saw Zach as a dynamic person on LPBW so I love the podcast for that.

You two are always so much fun to listen to, I really admire your true honesty about your lives ❤
I love the way the two of you interact with each other .... Politeness, kind words, fun, love .... Etc .... So inspiring and an example really ❤️

This was fun, Tori. You use that degree every single day. The better educated you are, the better life you have in most cases.
Hello Zach and Tori,
Thanks for the great channel.

Tori your story about the farmhouse just cracked me up. The fact that you hated that place so bad and were so afraid!
loving the q&a episodes :)!

I cannot believe Zach is 34. Goodness. It wasn't that long ago that we watched him in his parent's home making huge messes. lol.

This was an awesome episode! I just love watching you guys! And I love those babies. 🥰
Wow, thanks guys. Now I feel like I have a superpower 😂 (being fluent in French and English).
Great interview 😊
Funny you take that back lol about the bathroom ….and Tori “Our house is a mess”.. I know Zach would say no our house is not a wreck
You both nailed it love listening to you both
Love to watch and listen to you both. Now that the show is over. What do you do for a living now. I know Tory used to be a teacher.
9:08 I don't suppose you have time with the kids! But I am glad about the photography because any creative opportunity is good for human well-being, I think.
I love listening to you both.
I find you two so interesting. Respect for each other.
I love you, Zach & Tori are so natural 🎉🎉awesome
You guys are so cute together!
Great job Zach, you're a great interviewer
Another great episode!

I love watching your three kids growing up
I can’t wait to see who your guest is next week
Great that you have a fitness goal, I agree with you! I never get that runner’s high or to a point where I really enjoy it 🏃🏻♀️➡️
Still enjoying these pod casts.
Can’t you make adjustable counters!! You could do that-steampunk!! (Plumbing is just water…..where do you want it?)
So fun designing
I don’t relax till after Father’s Day since my Mums birthday is often the day before.
I really prefer watching this to anything edited on TLC.
My daughter's oldest child had speech delay so she taught simply sign language...later she babysat her siblings children...sign language with little ones became a fantastic tool...even in their teens the 9 children will sign their frustrations ❤
Zach and Tori,
Scotland 🏴, YES!! My husband and I are just starting to plan our trip for 2025 for our 40th anniversary. Maybe we will see ya there…😉
Love your podcast❤️
I’m exactly the same with the crowds. I go shopping middle of the day during the week if I can. It’s called getting older😂😂😂
Love you guys! 😊❤❤🙏
I love your Podcast! 💞
