I like the sound coupled with a responsive amp I reckon this pedal will do the trick.
It's a strange pedal - on it's own it is truly dreadful, but if you stack it with an overdrive and keep the Fuzz level down to about 10:30 - it is killer - really. The Octavia setting works very well too - just keep the levels down and it won't turn everything to shit - and it's dead cheap because most people think they are crap.

I tried one once and it was horrible. 'Broken transistor radio' pretty much sums it up. The Fuzzfacesetting sounds okay but it seems dumb to make a digital fuzz when it's so simple and cheap to make a decent analog fuzz that sounds so much better.
Great reviews though, it's hard to find honest reviews of Boss and Digitech stuff.
FandangleTechery do you mean that it was actually bad sound quality or that you didnt like the sound?
