This feels so much like a predecessor to that time an american reincarnated, same abilities more or less super intelligence, summon guns and fast leveling though in this one he's OP way to quick imo. Shows how the author has improved with his later series.

It's good, but Dream's approach to romance is... weird imo. It feels a bit M'lady-like. (It gets a little less awkward, fortunately.)
Biggest detractor from the story though is the amount of wish-fulfillment. I don't mind a protagonist having nice things, but make them work for it.
However... to any writers out there, don't let opinions like mine stop you from writing what and how you want. I'm just opining from the point of view of 'how to improve your craft'. Remember that everyone's opinion other than your own will always be trash/10 when it comes to writing.
Edit: After getting to ch260... Spoiler-free thoughts. This could be either a 6/10 or 8.5/10 depending on your tastes. It's a 7/10 for myself. This is sci-fi with magic. There is less plot/character progression or interaction than I'd like. Lots of potentially interesting character interactions are glossed over or outright skipped :/ Instead, you're going to get huge info dumps how magic works and theorycrafting, basically going from the magical equivalent of lighting a fire to... supertech . If anything, SP4DE put a lot of thought into it, though I wish there was more character interaction- some characters are even forgotten in favor of a new magical theory. At least it makes sense when viewed from what type of person Dream is.

This author literally introduced the gf by saying that "I mustered up the courage and got a girlfriend" then proceeds to not even give her a name before having her killed for motivation purposes by the 8 minutes mark...
This is all backstory stuff that should gradually be revealed as within appropriate context during the actual story.
Like have the MC be living with (or staying with her on that evening) when a gun goes off unexpectedly in some scene use that as a way to introduce his past experience with losing someone to a shooting.
The main character got creepy around hour 4. I'm done.
It's by the same writer as that time an American which is way better. It's almost like the author wrote this first and based the mc's untimate skill after Ciel in Slime. Then, they decided not to copy slime anymore and worked out all the bad character designs and bad decision making. I'm on something like hour 50 in American and really love that one.
17 years old is not even CLOSE to bring a man. Sorry.AND the writer has never hunted before; he is WAY too complacent about letting the animals suffer. Real hunters are instinctively aware of their pain, and try to limit it.

Western novels are more coherent to me tbh. Chinese novels are hard to comprehend. Japanese novels depends on how simple to complex (i did run "ascendance of a bookworm" raw through google translate and it feels like being hit like a brick in every paragraph.
