Thanks! So easy to follow. Glad to see you were able to fix it rather than throwing it out! Nice job. My flower is brokrn and Im tryung yo fix it but so far no luck as yhe hole where it goes is crackrd and not much left to work with. Ill keep trying but if you have any suggestions on how to replace the flower, it would be much appreciated!🙏

If you mean the flower head stalk and the hole it goes into, maybe a little dab of hot glue, but you would need to do it with the flower disassembled so you could see what you were doing and don't accidently drop the glue down inside and gum up the works.

If you use super glue and baking soda it gives the broken spot more material

Yes, this is true. Thanks. It is a handy trick. Here is an example where I used it ua-cam.com/video/IMN64ngQacE/v-deo.html

Is would drill out the Broken peg and replace it by a toothpick and glue it with some epoxy.

Sometimes just a drop of superglue is all that is needed, but certainly drilling it out and replacing it would be another option.

i have one of these solar movers and the copper coil is not as shiny and new looking as yours. it looks faded in colour and doesn't seem to be repelling (or attracting) the magnets at all. any ideas? nothing else appears to be wrong in the way of wires, etc. everything still intact. my solar mover also has two figures (supposed to be nodding) in unison if that makes any difference, as yours are always single ones.

Like most Chinese products, they are produced in such high volumes, they can gain economy in scale. I would expect the retailers, (Poundland in this case), would place a massive bulk order to get the cheapest price and minimise the shipping costs too.

Why stop at one when you could have a whole window ledge covered with them 😆👍

Cool to see you fix something rather than bin it like 99% of people.😊❤️

I find it interesting to work out how things work. Repairing them is not economical but it is interesting.

Nice easy fix with the glue.i was thinking that you Were gonna use gorilla glue with a bit of baking powder To strengthen it Up a bit but it holds Up that way as well.good job .

Sometimes a drop of superglue is all you need. Other times you need reinforcement.
