That's really nice I can't climb anymore, I'd love to have one but 225 dollars is too steep for me

Thanks for the info on the Waldrop PacSeat - just what I have been looking for. I am 71 years old and I think I could survive a fall from the pacseat. I love the challenge of hunting from the ground. I also have a UA-cam channel called Gardner Israel - not as big as yours- I talk about bow hunting, cooking, and gardening. When I get my pacseat I will definitely make a video about it. By the way, what part of the country are you in? Thank you very much. I am Steve Coleman from Vidalia, GA.

Thanks for sharing the setup. Been interested in one of these for awhile. Instead I went with the G100 seat from Millenium setup with an XOP stand harness with belt. I packs beautifully and Works well. It's probably a bit heavier than your setup but I get a swivel and independently adjustable legs which are nice features. I am aware of waldrops features and you can adjust it to a degree. The one question i have is that all the videos I have seen on the waldrop you are kind of slumped backward. I prefer to sit more erect. Can that seat be adjusted like that? So you are more vertical? Again, thanks for taking the time. Both the waldrop and the G100 are not cheap. I consider seats like this an investment to literally last a lifetime so it eases the pain somewhat.

I received my Waldrop pacseat today. Hunted the afternoon for a 2 hr hunt. Amazing seat. Had deer come within 25 yards. Really an incredible way to hunt. I set up my spot in 2-3 minutes and 5 minutes later the deer came out to the field. If I tried run and gun single stick climbing wirh my saddle platform I never would have had the deer come to me. I’m trying to figure out what’s the best way to handle a compound bow- keep it in lap, get a bow stand for the field or keep it vertical between the legs with the cam resting on your boot. Thoughts??

When I used to hunt with a compound from the ground, I just kept it in my lap.

I use the bow to break up my outline , I keep it infront of me at the ready all times ...

Pine Ridge Archery Kwik Stand. Great bow stand and I leave it on all the time. Cuts down on movement trying to ready the bow and is also great for when your just target shooting.

Do you think this is a better mobile route than a saddle? I still like my saddle but I've been looking at the pacseat for awhile now and I'm thinking about picking one up. What's your thoughts?

I think it very much depends on the type hunter you are. I hunt with a rifle or a vertical crossbow exclusively. I shoot the first legal deer I see. I can focus and not fidget provided I'm comfortable.
For me, I think it may be a better option. I know it's definitely much more convenient to ground hunt than to climb, and I'm less tied to a set plan/place. I like it, but have kept a saddle.

Hey Greg, Waldrop has a number on their site you can call. They're a small business, so I doubt they're open on the weekend, but if you call them during banker's hours they should be available.

They provide additional surface area for the seat in soft dirt to help prevent sinking
