Every time Jackson talks I just MELT! His voice is just so adorable and he talks so well for his age!
Oh my gosh those cinnamon rolls look so decadent and delicious! 😍 And I absolutely love seeing your parents all hang out at the dining room table. There's just something so special about having family nearby and having family dinners and such together, especially when two people get married and their families blend together. So beautiful! ❤️

It's so heart warming to see your parents all together. For whatever reason my inlaws and parents haven't ever done well together and this totally made me jealous. I'm so glad you talked about it and acknowledge how special that is. You're so humble and thankful, I love it!

I was lucky to have all 4 grandparents in the house together and I can tell you, your kids are real lucky kids. It was nothing but positive for me and I still cherish those memories today.
I loved that your relationship with both sets of parents is so cherished. Sadly all we have is my dad. Cherish every moment.
Toddler lip injuries heal VERY quickly!! My son fell off a couch into a coffee table and busted his lip. His lip was 100% healed within 3 days, it was crazy!
compared to now we're adults it takes 1-2 weeks to heal and with a scar
Lips always look so much worse than they are. My 2 year old head butted me over the summer and my lip was so swollen that I couldn't even shut my mouth and the next day it was just slightly puffy. :)
Kids are just so resilient!

My Mom died of cancer 2 years ago this Wednesday. I miss her every day. I hope you treasure moments like these. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Stay positive.

Bit of a bittersweet video watching you and your mum- I lost my mum 2 years ago when I was 17 and baking was her favourite thing to do. I used to spend so much time sat in the kitchen watching her bake, and watching you bake with your mum brought it all back. Bittersweet. The bread looks delicious :)
I love both of your parents, but I am so drawn to Grandma Mecham. My mother in law passed away last April and I miss her terribly. I crave to have that bond that Ellie has with Grandma Mecham. Love you guys! ❤️
My heart just melts watching the boys. They're both at such a fun age and their personalities really shine through. I also love that the parents all hang out. It's like you're just 1 family and truly like being together. Love you guys
I absolutely loved watching today's vlog. My parents and in-laws hang out together too (even when we aren't around). I wish more families could have this amazing bond. Keep on inspiring young people... we really need this kind of positivity in the US right now. ❤️
My in-laws hang out with my parents too and it is so wonderful. The other day my parents went to visit my husband's grandpa in the hospital. It's just so good to be able to help each other out and support each other whenever we can.
I just absolutely enjoy seeing the loving dynamic between Ellie and her mother.
Ellie's mom can get me emotional so quick. She is such a sweetheart. Her cooking looks amazing too. I have never been able to make bread or rolls and I bet she would be a wonderful teacher. At night the house looks so cozy with just candle...totally amazing!!

I've watched ellie and Jared since 11k! Can't believe we're so close to a million :)
How special to bake with your mom! We live 12 hours away from our families, but luckily when we do go back home our parents live close together and we can enjoy both sides of the family being together. I think this year was our 3rd or 4th year having Thanksgiving together. It is wonderful to have that privilege!

Ellie , Jared do you guys now live closer to Ellie's parents? Oh man this'll make me cry.... but I'm sure you know, but what an amazing blessing you have to have all four grandparents. Jackson and Calvin are so lucky to have such an amazing support system. My mom's parents both passed away by the time I was 9 months old. And my dads mom passed away when I was 12. I always wish I could have met my maternal grandparents. But no matter what these vlogs will capture these moments forever. You'll never know just how grateful your kids will be to able to look back on these moments 💕
I had to watch this vlog again today because I loved the story your Mum told, Ellie. I am probably about the same age as your Mum and, like her, memories of my own Mother's kindness and wisdom are what I remember most. I cried seeing your Mum cry because it's so hard sometimes to think again about how quickly time passes. Your Mum's story showed how thoughtful your Grandma was as she prepared her daughter for living away from home. And, the rolls look delicious!!!! I shall go over and watch this cooking vlog on your channel, Ellie. I'm sure it will be fun. Maybe I'll even try the recipe.

This was such a lovely video. I'm so grateful that Jackson's lip is better. Those cinnamon rolls looked AMAZING! Our thanksgiving was last month here in Canada and my daughter and I spent it alone as all of our family was out of town. I was laid up, so I sent my daughter to a friend's house to celebrate with them so she could at least have some fun. I hope your thanksgiving goes beautifully, as Im sure it will. It makes YOU happy to see both of your sets of parents get together, but I think I love it nearly as much. The are both such wonderful, lovely people. Congrats again on the new house - it's lovely. Also, I love what your mom said Ellie, sharing the story of making bread so you'll always have something to eat that her mom had told her....Reminds me of my great grandma, she always gave us kids a 5lb bag of flour, & 5lb bag of sugar for Christmas so that we would always have the essentials to eat.

Both sets of my grandparents HATED each other....it was so sad. They always fought over who was going to go where for what holiday...it would have been so nice to share it with both sets...how cool that yours make an effort do do that.

Such a fab video!! Such a gorgeous family! I must say I had a tear seeing your parents all sitting around chatting I miss that with my parents and my inlaws. My dad passed 10 years ago and my inlaws now live 4 hours away so it doesn't happen as much anymore.
