i like the attention to detail of the umbrella slimes being sucked in slower than the other slimes cause of the umbrella

Even if you're talking about the version of Astralgelddon added in the Catalyst mod, that version of Astralgelddon is from a different Universe, outside of Goozma's domain and thus, not apart of him

Considering the first boss is a slime, of course the community adds insane bosses that are slimes
A cool detail that wasn't able to be showcased here was that the ingame music gets quieter during the black hole attack in phase 1, and the laser attacks in phase 2. Really ups the intensity when that happens. Great vid tho! Awesome editing and superb gameplay :] This is definitely cals best update yet imo

I got to see this fight a couple days back, and it seems pretty good! I like how it has the slime that adds in its own attacks for most of the fight, keeping some slime-boss elements for most of the battle while Goozma itself is more of its own thing. The attacks themselves seem pretty fun as well, so its not like it is some novelty boss either. My only concern with the fight is that some attacks look like they could be a *little* hard to read, due to the sheer spectacle of everything that is going on. This looks like a really good boss overall, so long as you aren't easily distracted!

I would love to see a video in your style for Supreme Alchemist Cirrus. Because the boss is nearly impossible in normal circumstances, I wouldn’t blame you for using something like the hyperplane matrix.
I think this is a good idea. Probably Draedon can defeat Cirrus on a battle
They’re nerfing the chainsaw attack to be dodgeable in a future patch.
I'll try to beat her eventually. At least they really are trying to make the fight possible by nerfing her next patch
@@speedymatt1236good to hear, as nobody likes to have a non-dodgeable attack in a fight that makes it genuinely impossible unless you use god mode or a 100% dodge chance glitch that doesn't exist

I honestly want to see an event like slime rain, but all the slimes are replaced with King Slimes, Slime Gods and Queen Slimes, could be very funny.

I just fought this boss. It was an incredible visual spectacle, though I must admit the effects can be so over the top that it's often hard to see what's happening.
That, and the fact that for the "TOUCH IT!" attack you're meant to keep it away from the hallowed slime isn't exactly clear.
I think Astrageldon generally does a better job of balancing spectacle with visual clarity. That said, I hope they keep tweaking and tuning this boss!
Edit: Oh yeah, and the summon method is insanely obnoxious as Summoner. Since you instagib King Slime at this point, you have to unsummon all of your minions, *and* unequip everything that gives you a 'free minion', like armor set bonuses or minion accessories.
I had to just spawn in the Pluripotent Spawn Egg just so I could actually summon the boss. I think this item should be craftable with pre-Goozma items, since the whole process- while unique- is far too much of a headache for summoners.
@@fakecoomibefore beating goozma the slime ninja statue can only be used to start a slime rain; the item that you use on it to spawn the boss directly is one of its drops
my first time fighting goozma was as a summoner so I absolutely agree with op.. if the devs don't want to make the egg pre-goozma then I think they should at least have king slime's health/defense buffed during a late-game slime rain to prevent accidentally melting him

although this boss is most probably not actually in calamity, my theory is it might stand a chance to be in catalyst, seeing as catalyst already revived a dead boss, and a tribute weapon to goozma is given via no-hitting astrageldon
Catalyst needs to be renamed to "Calamislime".
I am always impressed hwat modders are able to do with terraria, and this is no exception. I am amazed with some uses of effects and sprites and more. very well made I love it :3

Fun fact, for the ppl who don't know terraria mods, the reason why he had 30 of each potion in his inventory is because of a feature called "30 stack potions" which basically means if you have 30 potions in your inv you get the buff forever.
This is in fact the single greatest quality of life progression mod ever

If you mean “comes out” as in playable then you can do so already, its called “hunt of the old god” on the workshop

Couple of questions. How are your colors so vibrant, and how is it so 100% smooth? I have an overkill PC for Terraria and I still get occasional skips/visual drops. Nothing major, but they do hang up.

The Boss Story (This is just my absolutely made up story about this boss. Just a "short one", though. Also, there were also gonna be a 😏 part of the story. )
- _A long time ago, there were 3 explorers. Kaylie, Zoe and Taurus. One day, while exploring a forest, they came across a strange substance. The 3 shocked of what they've just found. Kaylie wants this strange substance so that she can examine it, but Zoe stops her because they don't know what this strange substance is. Kaylie is sad 😢. Kaylie goes to Taurus, crying like a baby. Taurus calms her down and everything was now okay. As they were talking, the strange substance move. Taurus pats Zoe and tells him that the strange substance move by it's own. Zoe turns around and sees that it's moving. He pulls out his sword and shield to protect him and his friends. The strange substance stops moving and begins a transformation. The three backs up slowly. Once the transformation is now complete, the substance turns into a flying slime octopus. The three knows that the only way out was to run away. So they try it, but there were barriers around them. There is no way that they can escape. Zoe decided to attack this monstrosity, but stopped by Taurus. He will gonna be dead if he attacks it. The strange substance talks to them and introduces. The three shocked. The strange substance told the three that they can call him Godzma. Zoe ask why they trapped them in this tiny barrier. Godzma said that they fell right into his trap, and if someone does, they get sacrifice. Taurus ask why don't they get sacrifice even though they are trapped. Godzma told Taurus that his mission was to eat humans and become more powerful. But, when he saw the three, he decided that he will give them a gift instead of being killed. The three ask what gift. Godzma ask an offer, either be turned into a slime gods to protect him...or, be killed right on the spot. The three have no choice but to take the first one. Godzma is happy that someone finally agrees of not being get killed by him. Godzma told them to get away from each other for a minute so that he can turn the three into slime gods. The three position themselves properly. Godzma told if they were ready. They said yes. And now, Godzma throws a slime in their body one at a time. Kaylie gets the pink slime, Zoe gets the red slime and Taurus the blue one._
(WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️, UWAAHHHHHHHHHHH 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏 SCENEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)
_The three notices a strange feel on their body. Their bodies begun to get heated. They felt it...good? They like the already. The slimes are now covering up their hands and shoulders (the slimes already finished the lower parts of their body). They felt so good...so so good. Their feelings get really really heated as the slimes are covering their necks. They love it. The slimes have now covered up their entire body. Then, a pop. The second phase has now begun. The slimes formed them a new body that is...THICC. Once the transformations finish, they felt that their new bodies are better. And then, they decided to be their new protectors for Godzma._
