Just received my Fuse missed out on earlier orders. Snapped it up when you did demo with Laura and Cody - that was so FUN. Haven't been able to play yet, doing SCT but soon. Thank You for this technique so many more possibilities. Love your inspiration and creativity.
Love this one replay again & again. I must say, I'm going to try sentiments just because I want to see myself. I believe you Gina yet I just have to see. Love you!!! Thank you both!!!
Watched you and Tom on replay while getting ready to can applesauce (love to watch your videos, and that of your BFF’s, while I am busy in the kitchen). I’m so excited to snoop thru my stamps and try playing with this technique. I do have the leaves…and your snowflakes….and…and…and….this gives me so many options. Yes! My creative juices are flowing. And next time we get a decent earthquake here in AK, I’ll think of Tom’s Floorigami as I pick things up and plot a new project….after post-quake clean-up. Lol! Thank you for wonderful supplies, tools, words of the day and inspiration. ❤️
Hi Gina and Tom, l received my amethyst fuse in Australia about 2 months ago. I have learned so much today. Will be experimenting over the weekend. Loved the card. Great word of the day Tom.
Wow! Such a great technique based class! Thank you so much, Gina. I am so thrilled that my stamps can be used like this. What a great way to get even more return on my crafty investment. ♥️
They are gorgeous & beautiful, just like you 😊The leaf colors are very suitable for fall; green was the best choice. (Green is my favorite color & I like asparagus). I do not have the foiling supplies so I will not be making those projects,; I may be able to improvise experimentally. . . We like Tom's words & phrases of the day; they add to the joy of your presentation 😀.
Gina, such a wonderful and informative video. Thank you for trying all the different techniques for us . I can't wait for my Fuse to get to me. Blessings , Rita. PS, such a beautiful card.
Let me also add...Gina, I'm so proud of you with these revelations and so thankful you share them with us! Feeling rather giddy right now that I can foil away!
Love the video. I was playing with my fuse all day today and then watched the video! It’s so easy to use this video has opened up even more possibilities! Thank you!
Great ideas! Love the cards & I learned so much over the past 2 days. I have my Fuse machine & I haven’t used it yet due to a flood in my home, but I’m getting closer to being able to craft again! 😊😊😊😊😊
Just got my Fuse yesterday and several foils and will be looking forward to trying this technique with card stock. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome new technique!
Gina, when using the leftover foil, it doesn't matter whether it is toner foil or hot foil. They both work on polyglaze and toner sheets. The difference between the two foils is hot foil has a glue in it and the toner foil does not
Watching the replay....Oh my goodness Gina, this is amazing to know we can do this too! I just bought the last Amethyst Fuse at a local store a couple of weeks ago. I used to use a laminator with limited results. So excited!!
Love this technique! I tried this awhile back using a regular office laminator and it made a big mess. I’ll try again with my Minc machine on which I can turn the temp down. Thanks Gina!
QUESTION; Hi Gina, loving your videos on foiling. I’m only new to card making and my kids bought me a laminator and some foil to play with but I’m not having much luck. Your videos have explained lots. I have a question about printing. You said that you could use the variety of toner sheets, poly glaze etc., but also laser printed images. Do you mean any laser printer is ok for the images for foiling or only certain types or brands of laser printer. I have to replace my old printer anyway, so I may as well by a laser printer if I can also utilise it for foiling. Would love to know what you think. Cheers Vee
I have found that Canon laser printers work really well for foiling. Some people also like Brother laser printers. They work pretty well. Laminators work okay. You will get better results with the Fuse for foiling. ❤
Thank you for the welcome for rewatchers. We were doing just what you said at starting time, getting ready. The wind picked up quite a lot and ripped our flag before we were able to get it down and there were a few other things that needed to be brought in. Still just wind at 5 pm but rain is expected to start soon. We are not on the coast so hopefully will not have much damage. Thank you for caring.
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV Thank you Gina, we had plenty of wind, just a little rain. Lost power for a while but all is well at 1 am and for us it is all over. We are thankful.
I don’t have a laminator. Can I do the same process up to putting in the laminator and then just put the foil overtop the embossed design and then rub over the foil with a brayer or bone folder or just put the layers through your die cut machine?
which side of the embossing folder do you ink? The bumpy side or the indented side. I want the raised side to be coloured when I take it out of the intricut for the front of my card
Would be really cool to have your masking magic on a roll 🤗👍
Gina , watching on rewatch. I live in North Carolina so not only were we dealing with the Hurricane but my grandson arrived during the Hurricane!
Congratulations on the grandson! (Not the hurricane! Hope all is well.)
Hope you weathered the strm ok
Congratulations on your new grandson
Absolutely LOVE this video. Answers so many questions I had. The results with stamping blew me away!

Yea...what a great new option for using some of our stamps! Great idea, Gina.😊
This was fun! Love learning new techniques!

I am sooooooo excited that I can use my STAMPS w/the Fuse! This makes the machine so much more versatile & valuable! Thank you, Gina! 😍
OMG, the silver foil!!! The snowflake paper is gorgeous! it looks like patterned paper I would buy at a store💓💓💓💓💓

Watched the replay. Wow. Great tips and very pretty card. Thank you for sharing 😊🤗
I am gone when the live is on so watch the replay. I LOVE this idea of foil on the heat embossing! Beautiful card Gina! Thank you!🤗💖
Love your clothes pin. Great idea. Great for holding when you heat the emboss
Wow! After all my years of stamping I did not know that you could do this techniques!
OMGeorge, Gina! Now this kind of foiling I would love. Thanks.
Beautiful card! Thanks for all the great info! Someone needs to invent a tool that will turn your bling over without shooting it across the room! 😂😊❤️
That would be great!
Wow! Such a great technique based class! Thank you so much, Gina.

Autumn Silhouettes is one of my favorite stamp sets! Great technique!
Love that you showed us how foil using stamps!
Love the light coverage in the design
Love leaves for fall
Love love love, thanks Gina 😊
Fabulous video! Great to know that the Fuse can be used in other ways!
Thanks for experimenting to find the perfect setting for us!

Great video Gina you are the best teacher!
FANTASTIC!!!! Such a great technique. 🍁🍂
Oh my word Gina you’re technique works perfectly. Thank you for all your inspiration ❤
Such a beautiful card and a great technique!
So fun to watch and learn about this technique! Thank you.

Gina, the cards are very pretty! Thank you so much for help, inspiration and fun. You & Tom give so generously to the card community. MaryLisa
Hi, Gina! I was at crop and create, so I’m watching on replay. Love my Fuse, and this technique is so good, and just what I need. Thank you so much!
I wonder how the snowflake stamp would look with a pretty blue background!
Let me also add...Gina, I'm so proud of you with these revelations and so thankful you share them with us! Feeling rather giddy right now that I can foil away!
Wow, Gina! I have to try this! Thank you for the fun tutorial! ♥️♥️♥️
I love this technique! Makes so many things come to mind about how to use foil on stamps!
Very cool. Thank you.
Such a beautiful Fall card and great foiling options.
LOVE this technique! I can't wait to experiment with it!!!!
Had to give the video a thumbs up for the word of the day alone.
Can’t wait to get my fuse! So many uses and thank you for your work and videos to teach us. ❤
Awesome technique. I will be trying this for sure.
Love the video. I was playing with my fuse all day today and then watched the video! It’s so easy to use this video has opened up even more possibilities! Thank you!
I got my Fuse the other day but I didn’t know I needed a carrier sheet lol. Just placed an order for that & some poly glaze sheets.
Watching the re-play. This is going to be interesting

Gina, when using the leftover foil, it doesn't matter whether it is toner foil or hot foil. They both work on polyglaze and toner sheets. The difference between the two foils is hot foil has a glue in it and the toner foil does not
Every time I use hot foil, I get foil in places I don't want it. The heat makes it transfer even in places where there is no toner or no Poly-Glaze.
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV correct because it has glue on it but as I said, it is good for using your reverse method
@@malvinacote4737 Ah! Yes, I misread that! Great idea!
This episode could have had the title: "Foiled Again!" ❤ LOL!
FLOORIGAMI! Hilarious! Well done, Tom!
Floorigami -
really good Tom!

So helpful, and beautiful! Cricut foil wouldn't work, because it's pressure sensitive, not heat reactive. Thanks for the video!
Really enjoying this technique. Going to have to try this one.
How fun! Can’t wait to try this.
Great word of the day. I’d be doing cards forever with things that have fallen on the floor. Might need a magnifying glass to find everything.🤣🤣
Very pretty!
I was hoping for some purple in your leafy background
hello I look forward to this
Red card stock and silver or gold foil would turn out really awesome
Thanks so much for sharing the foiling technique. Love it. Lori Schwanbeck Andover MN
mind blown.💥

I love this. Really nice
That’s a great technique. Love it. Going to try it. I have the foil from Pink & Main plus the minc foil machine. Will this work with this technique?
Yes, it should. I have not used their foils or their machine, but the concept is the same.
so pretty
This is so cool!
Thanks for all the variations but how do you use the negative foil pieces?

Do you carry the white embossing powder in bulk to buy?
Not in bulk. But the powder lasts a long time! You don't need much for each card. :)
Yes
I don’t have a laminator. Can I do the same process up to putting in the laminator and then just put the foil overtop the embossed design and then rub over the foil with a brayer or bone folder or just put the layers through your die cut machine?
Matte silver versus mirror silver
Right!
Gina, is textile foil the same as toner foil?
Yes! :)
Watching the replay.
did you stamp on normal cardstock or on white foil sheet?
Normal card stock!
which side of the embossing folder do you ink? The bumpy side or the indented side. I want the raised side to be coloured when I take it out of the intricut for the front of my card
Then ink the bumpy side. :)
Nice. I have a Sovereign laminator with only one setting. Would this work?
It may be a little too hot. But definitely give it a try!
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV thank you for replying so quickly. I watch all your videos!
@@lucillemoncrieff2330 Thank you!
What paper cutter are you using? And where can I get it?
It’s available in our store at ginakdesigns.com ❤
I have the other foiling machine. Do you think setting #1 is the correct one to use for it as well as the Fuse?
If you have a Minc, I would try 1 or 2. Try 1 first. :)
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV Thank you!
Question: what brands of foil work with the Fuse? Thanks
Any toner foil.
