Wow! Just bought it, I already have all the usual suspects (Reso, Soothe2, Gullfoss, Smooth Operator) . . . and they are all fantastic tools, but this thing really works for some reason, I thought it would be something I could do in ProQ3 or any EQ, but it just seems so much cleaner, more accurate, faster . . . genuinely impressed and I never write reviews for plugins !
insane software for such a cheap price. i just bought it yesterday alongside another software, and i can say i have a lot of uses for Deres for both my current and future projects. good job WA!
Now WA Production should build a companion plugin for the low end resonances with the same sorts of features!! This might be the best plugin this brand has made. We need more tools like this!! Cheers!
Just downloaded it for £7.91 and I'm very impressed. Had a vocoder that wasn't quite sitting in the mix, used the plugin to identify the pesky resonance and now it's wonderfully smooth! 😎
I think my biggest question isn’t weather the plugin works, clearly it does. But how do I know which is the worst offending frequency when they all sound pretty nasty? Is there a good me theology for identifying the worst one?
I would suggest using deres when you notice an offending frequency in a specific element during the mixing process. I wouldn't go seeking out frequencies left and right, because you will find them and go a bit crazy. Usually, if a resonance needs fixing, you'll notice it stand out during the mixing process.
Hello, I am the designer of this plugin and I'm pleased to respond to your question. Yes, you can add and use multiple instances of this plugin on the same channel since its CPU usage is very low. However, there is a reason why only one reduction is allowed. By finding and cleaning only the most dominant resonance, it will give you great results without losing the naturalness of the sound. If you try to clean more resonances, it may distort the naturalness of the sound and result in an unexciting, dull, and lifeless sound. Of course, you are free to use as many as you like.
I think the idea is to use this to find and remove the worst offender. Take the improvement and be on your way, no reason to get too greedy as they say 😅

So far, this is my vote for Plugin Of The Year. Check my review: ua-cam.com/video/k_hnVbGMEgI/v-deo.html Any chance future update could bring the centre frequency below 1kHz? I'm finding some resonances a bit below that.

Is there a reason why the voiceover sounded resonant every now and then? Eg at 0:10 (with), 0:21 (restorative tools), 0:55 (make sure), etc.

I have the same question
Do you have a plugin like this for low frequencies? This would be really good for controlling boomy toms too!
Yes! Kickshaper from WA is your friend.
So basically, it's a parametric EQ with a different GUI.
It has an exciter and doesn't work as a full EQ So no, and it has other features like side and mid balancing

both ;)
Perfect !! 🎉😮😅
But its only for one Band, right?
Or its a Multiband?
single resonance, however, you can use multiple instances of the plugin if necessary
Yeah multi band would be great. Wondering how much resources would be used with multiple instances.
impressive already buying, game changer with affordable price compare to soothe 2 & reso
Reso is not so heavy pricey as soothe 2 and can treat more than 1 resonance.
