Hi Nikolay! Thanks! I am not a big fan of VWT, I think its cheating. Although I did use it quite a few times. I tend to believe that you have to be able to get down and up simply with your own technique/skill, however VWT is a pretty good technique to use when you are playing with your CWT max. But I always managed without the VWT :)

You are right to emphazize safety , but he might have a buddy observing from the surface.. A friend of mine is deep spearfishing in Greece, 3 of his friends died spearfishing alone in the 30-40m range. It´s more fun and way safer with a trained buddy. Especially in the Med, the visibility makes it easy to organize a good safety. Nonetheless very nice video. dive safe!
have u got any kind of disease with diving? my instructor said to be in every 2-3 meters about 10seconds for equalizing. she said something about nitrogen? i dont know whatever.

Hey Spakko! In the summer it gets to 29 on the surface and 21-22 at depth, in the winter it usually is around 16'C on the surface and 18 at depth. But if you look at Izmir, TUR, (some shots are from there) it could be 10'C on the surface :) My best STA was 6:20, 3:00 is a good result! Keep training and you will see what you are really capable of!

Hey trail runner, you question had been firing up in my mind a lot over the course of those years. For the sake of my spearfishing being more 'fair' I choose to make it more complicated, as in deeper dives, shooting the most appropriate fish (usually the one in the very back, taking the longest to reach) etc. Furthermore, this way you are very limited in amount of the fish you can shoot. I spoke about it in the Deep Spearfshing Encyclopedia, Respect. You could watch it with the English CC/Subtitles
