He's the truth!! He says "I have the power!!" way better than He-Man. I also love this version of Hordak way better than Filmation"s, not that I have anything against it. His voice was off the chain as well!! I wonder who was the voice actor for Hordak in this series? It was hardcore!!

@@prestonmcleod1726 yeah I agree. As a comedic villain, Filmation Hordak was good, but I prefer this serious and malicious Hordak more. What little we saw of him was amazing which is sad that he didn't get to become the big bad he was meant to be. It adds to the frustration of how the 2017 Hordak does nothing but brood

I know many didn't care too much 4 this He-Man series, but this series told the true origins of He-Man in which the Filmation series didn't. That's one of the reasons I liked it. Along w/the fighting scenes, it also explains why Adam says " By The Power Of Grayskull!" when becomes He-Man. It where the name Grayskull comes from. This episode was my favorite outta the whole 2002 He-Man series. I like King Grayskull & his Battlelion way better than He-Man & Battlecat.
I may be an 80s kid, but villains in those cartoons all did the same thing, be it Megatron, Skeletor, Prime Evil, whoever. They start shit, the hero gives a bit of resistance, they run. Here? Here the villains are actually worthy
I absolutely loved this series. To this day it still upsets me how it got cancelled when they had so much more planned for it. I was so looking forward to seeing more of the Snakemen, the return of Hordak, a Skeletor vs King Hiss rematch, Skeletor being the one who actually overthrows Hordak, etc.
@@CyberController- Read Bounding comics article on King Grayskull. One of the Writers said if they created a new black character people would reject. Plus they said they didn't want two 2 blonde heroes.
@@dwanyewest Yeah, that's what I said. They didn't want two characters that looked almost identical, so they changed D'vann to look more unique. I don't see anything strange or wrong about that.

Adam is a descendant of Grayskull, not a reincarnation so it would make sense that Adam's actual power would be miniscule in comparison
the best episode of the series we learned that it wasnt the castle Grayskull but the powers of King Grayskull who gave the powers to the sword
