Joy, the shoulder forward thing at 02:00 for accessing the G string better was particularly useful to me. I didn't think of doing that - I always keep my shoulder back! However, it gives me just a little less tension in my left arm, which is nice, making for better vibrato - especially with 4th finger. Thanks!

Hi Emmanuel, regarding having better control over semi tone has to do with having flexible LH frame which will allow LH to move and adjust as needed.
