Juno Birch is genuinely SUCH a wonderful soul. There is something so instinctively calming about her voice and mannerisms, I could listen to her tell me about her life ALL day.

I remember not long after i started at McDonalds (i was about 17, im old) and i was at the counter and this man came in (not sure if a drag, or trans, or whatever so apologies for just saying man) in a blue dress, blonde wig, and heels (insert jealous sigh here because i suck at wearing heels) and got some food and a couple of my coworkers started giggling and whispering. I honestly dont think i have ever shot anyone the nastiest, meanest look so fast in my life like let people wear whatever the EFF they want and shut up 🙄

I lived with a drag queen when I was a little girl. She was friends with our family, as a man, handsome and gorgeous. As a woman, well- six ft three, very feminine fifties negligees.
She taught me to dress like a lady, how to apply makeup and not look like a teenaged tart. She had class and style. When I accidentally cut myself, it wasn't my moms door I knocked on. It was hers. She cursed me out for waking her up then saw me, yanked me in the door and helped me. Sent me off to school scolding me.
I don't see drag queens as weird, or a certain type or gender or sexuality. They are people like you. They love, they have pain and hardship and triumph. They deserve rights.
