Monster High taught me the joy of having articulation at a young age. Then I got a Liv doll as a birthday present. The waist, knee and ankle joints blew my mind. While there's definitely some great dolls on the market right now, these lines really made me have high expectations 😂❤
Val dolls now a days are trash besides Snapstar ( but they aren’t really pretty)

I've found most of my Liv Dolls at the thrift store. Sometimes fully dressed with shoes and Wigs for $3.00 to $7.00.

LIV genuinely had some of the best fashion packs in the game - great clothes that fit both them and barbie/fashion dolls - and I wish I'd been in a better position to buy them up when they were out. Come back LIV!

I remember the year they came out I got Sophie for Christmas from my grandma. My sister and I would watvhvthe commercials and freak out! My favorite one was always Katie because she looked like me (minus my glasses). Now I'm 15 and all grown up but I still love my dolls. I collect and display dolls in my room!!! Aw; I was looking at all my Liv dolls yesterday putting things away from college and did some research only to be disheartened that they’ve been discontinued. ☹️ They were the last dolls I ever got before I stopped playing with toys, so they hold a special place in my heart. I had every girl and Jake the boy. Might give them to my little cousin.

I LOVED the LIV dolls. I have the brunette with green eyes. The LIV dolls were among the first to portray anything but pale-skinned, blue-eyed, frosted blondes. I hadn't seen so much variation in a doll line since the Toni dolls (14 inch, mostly) and the 23-inch Saucy Walker dolls of post WW II America.

They are available as lots on ebay, some are naked but it's so much fun to make them clothes and accessories and new easy wigs. Aaand, they are cheaply priced. I've always loved your presentation and your tips. Blessings

I remember at one point these beach ones were on clearance for $2 at Toys R Us so I bought the whole stack for body transplants.
3:28 this WHOLE scene screams NON EXISTENT. The liv dolls are discontinued. On the box, you can see a *only at ToysRus* sticker, but all toyRus stores have shutdown. Such a sad sight.

It's too bad they didn't last longer. They were lovely dolls and the playsets had some nice accessories. I loved the ability to swapping out wigs for very different looks. It was like having multiples dolls all in one.
