Just to not get confused, you can destroy the chests you have looteed with the mining lazer. They even rarrely drop a piece of scrap.
You should hide the solar panels BELOW your base, it looks cleaner and gives you more space to place other items!
Good idea! It's looking really cool already though, neat to see what the base building capabilities are.
Building out to the sides with metal girders are a great option as they allow light through, then building the solar panels onto the girders will make sure alp 6 sides of the solar panels are exposed to get 100% efficiency out of them
You are using a lot of fuel to move around. Try using the reverse mode of your grapple to draw you near objects instead of using jet pack fuel to move around. You can also save solar power by turning off unused machines, you don't have to pack them up. Check the menu of each machine for the off button.
he doesn't have a battery, so saving power makes no sense.
@@FastSloth87 It makes power demands lower so the machines you need can operate.
The machines being sideways would drive me crazy.
You can build the Power Console I (in the Fabricator - Utilities) and put it down somewhere. It shows all current energy being produced and used.
Z you can save on fuel, and perhaps time, by using the grapple to move and navigate. Not sure if you remember that from the beginning. I don't play this game but I'm sure others will tell you similar tales
I did notice you use the grapple a bit in the middle of the video, so hopefully you find this helpful and not a 'finger' in the eye
You start with the water gun under tools in the fabricator as well as some seeds under the crops tab. The farm cube can be a very good way to get money as long as you come back and check on it.
Farms are the way to keep your food meter up, they give a little bit initially but the buff they gives continues to fill the meter for a while.
I think this is the only game you haven’t used the conveyer system when it’s available
I like building the machines on the sides like that.

power usage and availability are denoted by color.
yellow = available power unit
white = used power unit
off = power unit not generated.
rather than fly around on your own jetpack, add some thrusters and control station to your rig and move it to where you want to be.
add some Trash-tor Beams and conveyors to catch and feed scrap into the atomizer.
consider building your solar arrays off the sides to allow building both up & down for further base station expansion putting T.R.I.S.H in the center by just building around that block.
When you use your jet pack after saying how rare it is. Also I'd probably raise the solar panels higher up or maybe look into flooring to see if that's potential even cheaper than cubes
You should make the pistol and use that instead. The enemies all move after being shot so the rifles seem to miss the majority of the shots
As an added bonus the pistol does more damage than the rifles so you'll kill the enemies quicker as well as saving ammo/aluminium

i just found when you jump back to starter part it resets for minerals and such
Craft the laser pistol, it's much better than the rifle.

As you found that the ice was rare in this quadrant, you might want to consider making the mod to use less jetpack fuel considering the common ingredients that you regularly find.
you should also scan everything you can for free credits, especially the stuff behind the hatch's you laser open
I think maybe the hint on the glass should be of keen interest. Mounting the solar onto a glass panel should give it all six sides powered :)

You are going to Hage it when you have to move your machines back onto the floor or make a new setup when you wanna automate things because it will not go right with the sideways abominations lol

you can salvage the loot boxes after you loot them.
Can you release the mining drone on the ships when you are exploring? Will the entities attack them? Will they destroy empty crates and mine the screws holding air filters to the walls?

When you get to mods make 2. Equip one and with the another of the same mod drag it on to an equipped continue till happy with results. Effects will go away on death

If you look throught the stock market some of the items that you atomize can be worth alot of money at times, you also have rare items that are worth a bit just taking up space in your inventory

2 things you scrapped for Aluminum is work A LOT OF MONEY
U can see the levels of the monsters of like 1 and 2 and 5 on the top of their health
You could have optimized it so much better. Just to let you know now your stuff isn't being Automatically stored now. In order for that to happen you have to have everything on the same plane not on different sides.
Can't you collect the chests after emptying it out?
You can't collect them but can break them down for 1 scrap which turns into 1 iron

Okay. Z, I adore you. But ads every 4 minutes, including one 2 minutes into the video is a bit much. Can you do anything about how many ads we get on a video?
UA-cam decides how many and which ads to put in the videos. I can only suggest the frequency but ultimately it is up to UA-cam. Sorry.
