2:14 you said if you pull the harnesses out? seat harness? im chasing wires and plug on mine and have a plug like that but noting in it. what was originally plugged in?
For the seat plug it should be a sensor for if your seat belt is buckled or not. If it's unplugged or your seat belt isn't buckled you shouldn't be able to go over 15 MPH.
@@SpangsWorld newer vehicles I've found out it can. It thinks you are pressing the brake and gas at the same time. This can throw a code and put it into limp mode.
Question sir… I’m currently diagnosing a no crank issue on a 1000XP, (I’ve already replaced the solenoid) but I unplugged the two pin connector at the brake switch and jumped the two female pins with a small cotter pin. I would think that would close that circuit to fool the ecu into thinking that the brake pedal was pushed. Am I right? Still no crank. 12.6V, new solenoid. I jumped the solenoid and the engine cranked. (That’s why I replaced the solenoid). Thanks very much for your time and consideration.
Do you have good connection with the cotter pin in the plug? I ended up originally pulling the pin I had in the plug and cutting the plug off to make the connection. The piece I had in wouldn't always make a good connection. Unless there is another issue going on.
Similar issue, rzr 800s, parked it one night, found my dog digging in the rear end chasing a mouse, next day cranks but won’t start. New fuel pump, new spark plug wires, but no spark. Any tips?
Excuse me, Sir....your American flag is hung wrong. When the Flag is displayed vertically the Stars are to be over your left shoulder as you look at it.

Since it thinks the brakes are on... does it limit your speed or limp the throttle? Can you still go full out when those wires are connected?
It doesn't effect anything else just let's you start it still.

Could a bad switch cause my engine light to come on for a second? I'm not showing any codes.
something might be loose. if it's electrical.
Do you have to have the harness byPass plug in order for this to work you have to push my brake extremely hard for it to work
Not sure. I have had the bypass in basically since I had the machine.
the harness bypass has nothing to do with the brake/start bypass....
When the connector is jumped do the brake lights stay on all the time?
Yes they do.

Check the relays i had that problem with mine

New spark plugs or old? If using old ones might need to clean the ends.
@@SpangsWorld old, but I tested the boot.
@The Moon and Stars make sure everything is seated right. Might need to check the wiring harness and see if the mouse ate any of it.
@@SpangsWorld thanks i will double check.
Did it clear your speed sensor code when you replaced the brake pressure switch?
Switching it out did.

Thanks for the correction will fix it.
