Sage Grouse Photography Adventure Part 1. My new photography method, why didn't I do this sooner!?

If there's one thing I've learned over the years as a wildlife and bird photographer, it's that you need to continue to try new things to improve. I've photographed Greater Sage Grouse for years now. It's a species that I'm extremely familiar with, in fact, I've probably spent more time with these magnificent birds than I have most other animals. Each spring, male Sage Grouse put on an incredible display in their attempt to lure in any nearby females, and each spring I set out to observe and photograph this unique behavior. I've had a lot of success with these birds in the past, but this year I decided to try something very different from what I'm used to. And let me tell you, this is my new favorite method to photograph these birds!
