After the usual research, I ordered a Petzl Rig (model D021AA00, manufactured from 2018) from Amazon that was advertised to accept ropes between 10 and 11.5mm. This is confirmed on Petzl's website where on a technical details PDF it very clearly states (in a few places) that the Rig's rope compatibility is 10 - 11.5. In the details around certification it states that rope 10.5mm can be used in PARALLEL. All other certifications provide for ropes 10-11.5. I'd suggest that either you have an earlier version of the Rig which had different specifications and certification, or you have it wrong. Since you seem to reading from the equipment itself, the former is most likely. But, despite your publication date of 2019, nowhere do you make this distinction and so the video is, for current purposes, misleading.
You are correct. Petzl made a change in the RIG. At the time the video was made they only handled 10.5 to 11.5 mm ropes. Now they accept 10 - 11.5 mm rope.
