- I made this video to show my love for the Sgt Frog series and all it's funny moments! Hope you enjoy!
Couple notes: I decided to do every segment, which includes every a and b episode, even for episodes that shouldn't really be separated into a and b format such as 7, 15, 16, 50, etc. The only exception to this was episode 74 because that would be a whole lot more work than I want to do. - Розваги
I wish that funimation would continue dubbing the series. It's like invader zim, mixed with rick and morty and deadpool.

It's also the closest I've ever seen a dub match the same comedic quality as Ghost Stories
If ADV didn't go belly up, Sergent Frog could have aired along side Invader Zim.

I grew up only reading/watching the Japanese Keroro. But the Dub also seems so much fun by making it unique by making jokes that would only be funny in English, Not just a carbon copy of the Japanese one.
True, but I found it to be a bit too cynical. Still hilarious though. Now if only more people would buy the DVDs, Funimation might be able to keep dubbing the rest.
If it was streaming today, it’d be a hit.
That sounds rather difficult to pull off while keeping things consistent.
We need Funimation to dub more Sgt. Frog seasons!
I havent watched sgt frog in a few years and the fact I barely remember the context to these makes it even funnier
Maybe I’ve never realized how chaotic this show is because I’m always watching it with it’s context
Shame the dub didn’t continue but episodic sitcoms aren’t popular with Anime fans over here. Still a revival would be nice considering how many took to Ghost Stories.
At this point I wouldn’t mind it being overtaken by completely new voice actors. Anything for a crumb of the silly space frogs again.
And hey maybe they’ll find a better voice for Dororo and Kululu too. (No offence but they don’t have the same charm as their JP voices.)
@@DARKINBLADE. TBH, their still acting. Though some gone to L.A., remote recording wouldn't be unlikely.
Many are still in the dubbing game. Though Cheremi Leigh, Todd Haberkorn, Carrie Savage and J. Michael Tatum moved to L.A. for expanded acting opportunities.
That said, remote recording wouldn’t be out of the picture. Heck, they got Bryce Papenbrook for Eren Jaeger.
I only feel like marketing it to the UA-cam crowd for kids and pre teens would bring in better results.
@@matt0044Except Savage doesn’t really do much anymore. And if they dubbed it again, there’d be a number of recasts and the jokes would have to be dialled down.
This was a gag dub. No way they’d get away with doing this again.
@@SpaceWanderer03 Actually, he has done a few roles like with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. She also has done a few role reprisals when opportunity strikes. Though she'd be up in the air.
Though I don't doubt that some actors have stepped down from Anime for personal or professional reasons like Chuck Huber turning out to be a bit of a bad character.
Though in the effort of fairness the gag dub elements was scaled back in Season 3's episodes. I think they could strike a balance between gad dub and script adaptations that lean into the cartooness of the Anime.
Seriously, if it was a Gag Dub, it's only because it was a Gag Anime adapted from a Gag Manga. When in Rome...
