I’ve just been given an unused Kenwood DAB radio and was checking to see it it could be fitted to my Berlingo van. Then I saw this video. Not sure if I want to do that…I’ve saved this vid in case I do get brave.
There is unfortunately that bit of cutting needed, on the plus side you can fit a head-unit with much enhanced functionality. It looked reasonably factory as the dashboard is a fairly square shape and some berlingos did get a big screen infotainment setup.
I have been planning my own install for a good week now on my 2012 Belingo and completed this today :) I used your video as a great reference! Thank you very much 😊
So in a 2018 van will the dab wire be in the roof but just need an ariel off of a professional edition with the touch screen? Instead of fitting dab ariel to the window?

Is there a way to access through this wheel control the "Dark" and the "Mode" functions? (the “dark” and the “mode” buttons on the old radio that also controlled the screen). Thanks a lot!!
It was a great headunit for the berlingo, one downside to the C4 i replaced the berlingo with was it cant really take an aftermarket headunit. Even the ones on Ali Express are designed for LHD cars.

There may be some different adaptors needed for that one. If you need to send pictures of the connections search for peugeotcitroen2cv on facebook at the very least i would be interested to know what differences the connectors have on a later berlingo.
Matt I’m thinking of fitting one of these head units myself, mines is a 2014 model so I don’t have the dab Ariel but I was in a 2017 partner yesterday and to my surprise it was the same Ariel and radio as my own, I assumed from 15 on all had the same Ariel and screen. Are you replacing the factory 7 inch screen?
@@garymarshall724 yes replacing the standard screen because Mirrorlink doesn't work for me now.
@@matthaigh5296 I was going actually fit one of the factory screens like you have but I hear they or not a good job, I have heard people saying upgrade the dab factory Ariel as it’s pathetic.
I was going fit the same Ariel as you have but I wouldn’t go to the bother if I thought they were not a good job.
Hi, the android auto works by wifi or usb, it does not work for me, thks
It is supposed to work by either wireless or via a wire. Not too sure if there are any other settings, i have not used this with an android device.
Hi. Ive tried to find your contact details. I really would like you to fit mine for me. I don't think I could trust anyone else to do it for me. Please help 🙏
As I mentioned on the other place you commented i dont do this as a day job, i work as an engineer during the day and get out to the shed for a few hours of an evening, that and the videos is just something i do for enjoyment.
I cant offer to do this sort of work as i dont have the time and i know from doing this to my own Berlingo it took a good day to do it.
All is in the video to guide you through the process and if you have any questions i am happy to help.
I keep my contact details off UA-cam, but do have a Facebook page with the same name as this channel.
Thanks for your reply 👍 🙂
Hi there mate
I like what u done
I just bought Peugeot partner
I will love to do the same on it.
If u could do it for me
The chances we close to each other
Could be 0 to 100 but,
If u dont ask u never know.
Where do u base?
Hi there,
Unfortunately i work a day job as an engineer so have minimal time in the evenings the work i do that ends up in videos and the editing takes up most of the time. For that reason alone i do not offer to do work for other people apart from friends/family cars which keep me busy.
That and im also based in Northern Ireland.
I do make the videos so that they can show how to do this work, if you have any questions just ask im happy to help out.
Where is passenger compartment fuse box
On right hand drive vehicles it is in the glovebox. There is a panel there which will provide access to the fuse box.
Where was the fuse box for the heated seats
@@owenkelly9447 There is not a specific fuse box for the heated seats, there is a fuse box in the passenger compartment, and one in the engine bay.
I have a separate video on this channel if you want to add heated seats to your Berlingo
💯👍👍
