When you replace any of these actuators disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnect. Turn on the ignition for 5 minutes. This will allow all the actuators to go through the recalibration process. Then go through the mode adjustments using the controls. This worked for me.

Nice way to over complicate a HVAC system!

Planned obsolescence. Having the system stuck blowing freezing air on passenger side and hot air on driver's side ensures that a spouse will refuse to get in during the winter.

Please help! I have a 99 Century limited. The A/C blows stronger than the heat out of all vents. When I start the temperature at 60° it blows very strong until I bring the desired temperature up around 75, and then the air flow slows down while producing heat. I don't know if this is normal or not. If not, I'd like to know the cause, and if it's one of these doors and actuators, which would it be and where? It's the same flow for all vent settings on heat and stronger on all with AC. I've changed the cabin filter and blower(it was squealing).
    I hope someone can help.
    thanks

In auto mode the heat should blow mainly thru the floor outlets, not the dash ones.
