"All Aboard Amtrak" was a slogan used by the titular railroad throughout the 1980s and 90s. At the end of TV commercials, there'd often be a short jingle singing the lyrics in varying styles. Here's a good ol' Trainz music video featuring the elusive full song.
The full version of "All Aboard Amtrak" was never really heard or made public, until now! An unknown amount of 33 1/3 vinyl records featuring the full song were most likely distributed to employees sometime in the 80s, and one just so happened to go up for sale. A friend of mine bought the record and digitized it, so now everyone can enjoy it and use it as they wish. No gatekeeping here. Who knows if anyone at Amtrak even remembers it lol. This is a remake of a video I had up in 2021, but the recording I had from a different person with the record was not very good.

Not only is it a refrence to his channel name, It's Amtrak Train 365, the Blue Waters, pulled by F40PH 365 arriving in Durand, Michigan. Note the Durand station canopy at 0:03.

Amtrak, despite how divisive it is with some, is undeniably special to many. And they certainly knew how to capture and captivate their audience with a catchy tune.

I never knew that American Airlines and Amtrak are the iconic of American liveries of red, blue and sliver lining. The 1980’s was sure the popularity of American’ dream.
I love Amtrak, never ride any, but I do seen them around the East Coast of Maryland and later, Delaware as of my childhood. Cos’ like AmtrakGuy365 says, I love trains, I love “Amtrak.” Just like me.😙👍

I recall as a teenage camp counsellor I got an "All Aboard Amtrak" record, the one with this jingle. I wish I saved it! I'm pretty sure it was a "sheet" record: a plastic or vinyl page included in a booklet, also known as a "flexi disc." You pulled out the flexible sheet, placed it on top of another record (for relative stability), then played the sheet record. My recollection is that the Amtrak Police visited the summer day camp where I worked (in a Northeast Corridor community) to give a short presentation about rail safety, especially to discourage kids from throwing objects at trains. I wonder if anyone has a copy of that Amtrak public safety film. I thought it was really well done, and it got the kids talking (in a good way). Throwing objects at trains is extremely dangerous, but they couldn't show death and injury to kids in an explicit way. Instead they showed a teen or pre-teen doing something unsafe (like throwing something at a train) and then he/she was suddenly transported to an empty, dark train car - a metaphor for death or at least a serious injury. And with a stern voiceover to go along with the tragedy. After the film and some discussion (Kid #1: "What happened to them?" Kid #2: "I think they died...") the Amtrak Police passed out a few Amtrak goodies, and the "All Aboard Amtrak" sheet record was included in the kit. I remember playing that jingle a lot. It's pretty catchy! The brass section in the chorus works particularly well.
They really need to bring this song back.
Only one way to describe this: An absolute masterpiece! So far, the most catchy song of any railroad music video there has ever been!
