The off-balance note is really interesting. I've been noticing a lot of our batters (specifically Julio and Polanco) are always swinging out of their shoes. A lot of Mariners batters seem to be really off balanced at the plate and it's increasingly concerning.
that's what I see every time when M's have 2 at base, not sure why they all go after big swing. Third base direction basically is open. In Taiwan, the coach will ask the batter to chop the ball harder on the ground.

How many players they left in scoring position yesterday? Seemed like for 5 straight innings the could’ve put up runs. Its the show, it ain’t that easy. Leaving guys on base is better than 3 up 3 down
Julio is a child. He brings a tee ball approach to the game. Maybe when he is 30 he will be mature enough to be a star but he is incapable of it right now
Yet all their fans, as they stand around pissed off about the state of the team, still stand there hoping this team makes the playoffs so they can all feel good until the playoff beating happens. To hell with this franchise, I hope they move to Oklahoma City. Stop spending your time and money on them.
Are we feeling buyer’s remorse? For all their cheapness, who signs a rookie to a ten year contract? The guy’s a great athlete and a mediocre player, not the guy to build an offense around.
