- Time for another great fight scene! A colonel decides to kill three men accused of horrible crime when they were part of the army after realising that they were never going to confess.
From Grimm Season 3 Episode 11 'The Good Soldier' - Nick and Hank investigate the gory murder of a veteran who worked in home security. They soon discover this might be one of several revenge killings regarding a horrifying cover-up involving members of the army and military contractors.

"There once was a man who lived a life so strange, it had to be true. Only he could see what no one else can-the darkness inside, the real monster within, and he's the one who must stop them. This is his calling. This is his duty. This is the life of a Grimm."

A soldier to the end. The colonel knew the only way for justice to come for the woman who was raped was to give it himself. One of the rapists was actually going to confess, but the ringleader killed the guy and his wife. The colonel knew that the ringleader would never confess and allowed himself to take the fatal blow in front of the police, no matter what the creep said about self-defense.
well the colonel was dying from a terminal illness so he saw the chance to regain his honor.
well the wife destroyed the confession so at that point it looked like it was the colonel manticore who killed them.
I didn't even realize this until recently, he stabbed that knife into the venom gland of the tail, small puncture wound, with scorpion venom, fits the MO of all the killings, including his death
Im not in the army, but i will say this,
thatColonel was the living embodiment of "Death Before Dishonor"
"You can't get him for Frankie. But you can for what he did to me."- Brilliant.
In the end honorable to his Manticore.
I remember felling so sad after watching this episode...
I legit cried for the Colonel 😭
This scene alone makes me wonder why manticores get so much hate on other videos
I know! He was a class act!
I can't imagine the pain of the scorpion tail coming out from behind.
I imagine you’d get used to it after a while but the first few times would be very painful
Awesome episode, and Manticores are some of my favorite wesen. Also the best fight in the show imo.
Death before dishonor…
Colonel: You can’t arrest him for what he did to Frankie. But you can for what he did to me.
Me:Well played.
I wouldn’t mine a Grimm spin-off with the triplets Diana and Kelly
Our even a presequel with his mom or grandfather.
* mind
Yes. A spin off would be awesome
Uu
It was supposed to have happened by now :(
Honestly one of my favourite episodes
that is the kinda of colonel i would serve with.
I really miss this show I would really like it to come back 😭😢😭😭 please please 😢😔
Me too😞
Me too
I think the genre is called something like "monster of the week trope". Though it sounds alittle demeaning, it's not meant to.
It's an old storytelling format and because of that multiple rendition have been produced.
(i.e. Buffy, X-files, Supernatural, Dr. Who or maybe even Gravity Falls)
I'm sure you can find something to tickle your fancy with the right search.
I do miss it as well though.
Grimm really had a fantasy noir atmosphere unique to it in the earlier seasons, with some characters doing bad things for the right reasons, like the colonel here. It lost some of it's unique flavour after season four, becoming more of a supernatural horror series, but it was enjoyable overall.
Jesus,i love this show please Grimm make an agreement with german Netflix to come back
Why with german netflix
Im german thats why im interestet :)
@@everythinginashorttime2566 , I'm assuming it's due to the show originating from the Grimm Brothers who were also of German origin.
@@azraelgorge9203 oh okay because im from germany and i was like: wtf what has grimm to do with netflix germany ?
But yes i think so too. Thx
@@everythinginashorttime2566 not just that. Considering the most stories and folktales which inspired the Grimm Brothers were originally from Old Germany, the black forest, etc.
@@azraelgorge9203 ah yes that make sense. Thanks so much for the info :)
Manticore, Muvais Dentes, Balam, Yaguarete and Lowen are my favorite Wesen.
So your a fan of feline wesens minus klaustreich
@@ash5900 I mean the female Klaustreich are not good company most of the time
While males that have been shown in this show are either controlling, abusive or possessive
Same
You forgot the Council Assassin, that one is a feline wesen too and he looks badass.
watching this show on prime for the first time wow awesome stuff
Netflix needs to make an agreement with grimm or hulu needs to make an agreement with grimm
When me and my family first saw this father said that he knew what animal that was I then said "kimera" (wrong spelling a wrong) it was then that I gave a long exsplnation (again wrong spelling) telling him that he was wrong
Chimera explanation
Artemis got your back homie
@@tokyosmoke291 doubtful
Hello, im not sure that this channel is the real creaters of Grimm but i and a lot of people would like this to come back to netflix a long with a new season
I don't think you'll get a response. This channel is just a distributor, you need to talk to the production company.
This show was good
This ep. reminds me so much of Vanessa Guillen :(
It's such a sad episode.
Finally
Fight fight fight it’s a platypus fight
its in our Nature🦂🦁
Is Grimm coming back????
2:15
Diana power is very dangerous
I thought he’d win because of his battle experience
If he was 2-4 years younger, he probably would have.
Cancer wrecks the body, if the fight was before the cancer developed. I'll bet he would have won.
@@WolfFireheartnot just the cancer but his plan was to loose the entire time like he told Nick. He couldn’t be charged with the SA all those years ago but here and now Nick has all the proof he needs to sends this man to prison. He knew Nick’s hands were tied and that unlike other Grimms Nick wouldn’t kill if he didn’t have to. He was dying anyway, this way his death means justice is served and Nick’s hands stayed clean.
Pobre soldado, sirviendo a su país y así le pagan 😡
speak english taco
@@toomanyaccounts Is there any rule on this channel that says people should only speak English? Because I've seen people speaking English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and many more languages on UA-cam channels where the audio has an specific language and none is being punished for that.
😮
Sup
It's a chimera
Not really, Chimera is the mythical beast that was part lion, part goat and a tail made of snake head!
Manticora is a persian beast, part lion, with a human face and a scorpion tail.
@@movienaut you did your research for 3 months
@@michellesalisbury1943 More likely that I didn't know that this video existed about three months ago! (lol)
Not like the mythology hasn't been around for thousands of years, so why'd you not get it right?
