      Hmm i would prefer having runner legs than buff legs. More useful. Then again i doubt this guy even runs much if at all. Extra weight is a hindrance to him for what he does either way. It would make it harder on bars if he adds a few kg to his legs. Not good for competition. It is like asking a competitive cyclist to work for a buff upper body. Just useless extra weight and waste of time...

      You're absolutely right. It's easy to see nothing but stagnation, rationalize apathy as a solution, and even dismiss the meaningful things we've accomplished in our lives. But when we see others wholly focused in the pursuit and eventual attainment of their goal, suddenly things seem a bit more doable, yes?

      Gdybyś był w stanie zmusić się do jedzenia mało i zdrowo to nie musiałbyś w ogóle ćwiczyć, bo dietą możba regulować wyrzuty testosteronu, a on sam wystarczy żeby mięśnie rosły, a kondycja się poprawiała. Zainteresuj się głodówką Ewy Dąbrowskiej, ona trwa tylko 2 tygodnie, a rezultaty są absolutnie powalające. To albo kontynuuj swoją aktywność.

    • @sawekkabala2067
      @sawekkabala2067 8 років тому

      Dietę wprowadziłem też oczywiście, nie kupuję i nie jem tzw. fast food, żadnego gotowego jedzenia.
      Generalnie jem połowę tego jedzenia co wcześniej(bez śmieciowego jedzenia) i nie dotykam alkoholu, gazowanych napojów, woda, woda, woda,woda, już na liczniku mniej,co cieszy i motywuje. Kiedyś byłem piłkarzem w trzeciej lidze i byłem szkieletem, kiedy sport sobie odszedł to ja automatycznie poszedłem w picie piwa i łatwe szybkie jedzenie typu KFC. Od prawie dwóch lat nie jem mięsa, schudłem na początku ale nadgoniłem wagę mącznymi potrawami. Wiem że z jedzeniem to trzeba rozsądnie. Ruch też jest ważny. Poczytam o tej diecie Pani Ewy.
      Pozdrawiam.

    To jest niesamowite ile to człowiek ma siły, aby takie pozycje utrzymywać na palcach. No u mnie to dopiero pierwszy dzień z "przygotowaniami" do kalisteniki, zobaczymy jak mi to wyjdzie. Dosyć długo ćwiczę, ale nigdy z jakimś większym zapałem. A do kalisteniki próbowałem się przymierzyć zdecydowanie za długo. Najwyższa pora.

    For those that are arguing about him not training legs, yes it will make his skills harder to perform and he simply doesn’t want that because he wants to be at peak performance when competing.
    Like for bodybuilding, they want to stay as lean as they can get in off season so its not too hard during prep. Same way here he doesn’t want to grow his legs bigger so that it doesn’t affect his skill performance and probably doesn’t have the time to improve when he is already a beast at it.

      @Ca11MeZed Paragraphs ... they are useful

    • @spiritmatrix2004
      @spiritmatrix2004 5 років тому +3

      Actually, you can do calisthenics everyday and recover from it within 24 hours or even less. A huge reason for this is because of how much more natural calisthenics are compared to weight training. What do I mean by this?
      The weight is consistent, and all you’ll really end up doing is be able to do more reps and be more explosive with the reps. In addition, the stronger you get with them, the more you will do variations like the explosive pull-up, letting go of the bar to spin, and then grabbing onto the bar again for example. This means that calisthenics are CONSTANTLY developing new neuromuscular pathways, from the muscle groups to individual muscles all the way down to the individual fibers themselves.
      This constant need for neuromuscular pathway generation in your body makes your body much more prone to regrow/regenerate/repair itself. Not only that, but because calisthenics are just an enhancement of kinesthetics and already preexisting biomechanics, your body recovers very easily from it (it has to just naturally, otherwise babies would need to rest for a day or two after the walk for the first time; I use this example because it relates to kinesthetics and biomechanics).
      This vastly differs from weightlifting. Not only that, but weightlifting will eventually stop the generation of new pathways (as there is a very limited range of movement) and just retain the ones that it already has and developing muscle AROUND said pathways. In other words, eventually, you will find that you may increase the weights you use only because you are getting better at weightlifting rather than because you’re actually getting stronger.
      In other words, calisthenics relate solely to the body, and so the body will realize this and adapt to itself rather than a stressor. It adapts much more readily because it’s a stressor that is caused only by itself, and therefore is a survival mechanism. Weightlifting is not of the body and is more of the external, at which point if the stress is too high, evolutionarily speaking, you should leave the environment that is causing you this immense stress (which manifests itself as a lack of motivation)

    Nicely done! It goes to show that hard work, patience and determination can pay off! I am just beginning my calisthenics workout and body transformation with my two sons. One is 12 and one is 18 and they'd both like to be fit and strong...not huge bodybuilders, but lean and strong. We are looking forward to fun workouts and making ourselves the best we can be. I am 47 and have quite a bit of weight to lose in order to keep up with them but I am on my way. It's October and I've lost over 20 lbs since Father's Day back in June so its a good start! Congrats and keep up the good work!
