- I called in this Red Fox & he circled around me to get down wind of the caller when he showed up again he was on my left side & he brought his buddy the Owl with him , watch to the end you'll see the Owl comes real close to me as did the Red Fox in a earlier a video I posted ,

Is this device any good for birds ?
Short ear owl on video?
I use it during the day & do spot a lot of birds that I normally would not see with a naked eye, that being said identifying the bird with this device would be difficult for me. The owl could be a short ear owl but where I'm from I just called him a Barn-Owl. I have a still photo of a Ruffed Grouse I was going to post in this comment to use for an example but I'm not seeing where to attach a photo to comment. Hope this helps
Hello, may i ask what distance do you think the fox is?
In the beginning of the Video the fox is approximately 200 yards out , towards the end of the Video he is approximately 50 yards out
