I like how the road turns with one of the interfaces. I wish the bezel was black or gray to go with the consistency of the vehicle but it’s over looked with the quality

love the quality of the display and the info. Just not sure about the shape, in particular the back. Seems to fit the look/feel of a MINI better :)
I just want to check speed, gear status and battery info. this is great for checking major info and aerodynamically shaped. cool
This display blocks very little airflow in the middle and also the display and graphic quality is the best I have seen so far.

Main thing I want to see is the speed and speed limits (although I would include the gear selection too). Needs to be a larger font option of these two things. Everything else is available on the Tesla screen.

Does sliding the right control wheel up to bring up the display menu also accidentally increase the autopilot max speed limit?
That will affect when are on Autopilot.
If you just parked the car then it would affect autopilot function.

Hi Paul, I bought one of these, however, after we plugged everything in the power didn’t come on. Do you know where I can find a PDF of the instructions for it? I even reset the Tesla to see if it would come on and it didn’t. Does it come on as soon as you put it in drive or something?
Did you select the right processor for your car when you ordered it?
It should start the display as soon as you plug it in. Make sure you turn off the car before you plug the wire to OBD plug.
Yes, I bought the AMD/Ryzen for a model Y 2023. I believe that was the right one. I’ll check about the OBD plug.
There is another T harness next to the one that I plug in the can harness at the passenger kick panel. ( see attached photo), which I’m not sure what is for the it’s a 10 pin plug.

With the update 2024.20.1 the display is not syncronized with the battery percent and the km of the car
Question: Can you not run both data and power from the rear OBD port?
Unfortunately you would need both for the display to power up and operate.

@@dadstoyscars Thanks for the reply. Does it have to do anything with Intel or AMD processor? What was the processor in yours? Mine is 2023 Model 3 with AMD processor.
@@maheshvpy My car is 2023 Model Y long range with AMD processor.
Intel wire harness only has one point connection but you have to connect to the MCU which is more difficult to connect.
@@dadstoyscars Got it. On a separate note, the darker theme appears bluish compared to Tesla's screen. How does it it look in person?

I talked to the brand about price too.
But they said this display cost higher than most of them out there that’s why.
There are a few displays that I have reviewed in my Channel but none of them offer this high quality graphics and display.

The deep pointy front facing part is silly … should be a slim aesthetic in keeping with car design. Same with bezel keep it to a minimum. Only worth considering at $200 USD or below. I prefer the switchback unit that offers phone holder and wireless charging.
