To all those here, just my perspective..I think Nissan targets the concept of 1) Big, Proportionate looks, well laid out head, leg & shoulder Room for avg Indian size. 2) A powertrain that's a balance between Performance & mileage with turbo aiding the midranges for ease of overtakes. 3) Giving Gimmicks - current trend among segment but thoughtful (360° camera + TPMS+ Rear AC) . 4) The DNA of an SUV with high seating position, wheel arc claddings, functional roof rails, cruise control. .. Targets the customers who seeks the alternative for a so called premium hatches, Compact sedans, who avoids the base/mid variants of Compact SUVs.. I think Nissan positions it as competitor for KUV100, Ignis, freestyle, the upcoming Tata Hornbill and Renult Kiger. I think Nissan targets Practicality, thoughtful & economical rather than on papers of Compact SUVs(no offense)
No need of diesel, with turbo petrol in competition. Which is lighter, cheaper & will win the race in long term point of view. As less weight lead to less suspension issues when car gets older... Less compression ratio leads to lesser engine issues when odometer counts in lakhs...It's the basics, i think Nissan has a winner in their hands if they keep prices as per speculations going in the air. And one more Nissan keep spares sales outside authorized service center also... Cause to be successful in india u have to do this... Hope for best, cheers nissan...
The way any and every car company has started launching these compact SUV's, it makes us ponder over that how some the of these car manufacturers are bravely venturing out in the premium hatchback segment which might see a downfall very soon seeing the kind of prices on offer for these compact SUV's. Also, it creates a doubt in the mind of a buyer that whether he should go in for a premium hatchback or a compact SUV. The tilt right now is in favour of these mini sub four meter SUV's and as we know the competition is going to be intense.

That's a nice review and the car looks really amazing for that price range but the only problem is the Nissan dealership, there is not much dealerships in India compared to other car manufacturers.
People need to appreciate Nissan for giving out such a compact SUV which may seat 5 people - giving such safety and enough goodies. Good HP and torque rating good suspension and light steering and an effective price. This car has potential to be a market disruptor.

I personally think - 1. Nissan are on the right ball with only petrol engine in option to choose. 2. Nissan have to make good deal with dealerships then only they could get sales figures on the up-steep scale.
Nissan just needs to get it's act together on the service and spare parts front, just like Ford did with their India strategy - they made their weakness their strength by showing great transparency in the service cost and by lowering their spare parts pricing. Come on Nissan, I believe you can finally taste success with this well-made product.
@@navin63897 They should do it very clearly, if they have really given it a go-ahead. My first-hand experience with the servicing and spare parts cost has not been very satisfying. A close friend owns it, and invariably spends about 10-11k every 6-7 months when he gets his car serviced. He owns the Nissan Terrano diesel.
The vehicle is awesome and mostly preferable . But wht I want to give a message to NISSAN is improove after sale service which can really give boost to their sales number.
Great video :) i own 4 diesel Cars but i think petrol makes more sense nowadays. petrol n diesel fuel costs almost same, petrol engines have started giving better mileage. Petrol car costs less and servicing costs less too. And being in NCr where Diesel car have 10 years life a petrol car with 15 years RC validity makes more sense.
To be honest Datsun RediGo cars are very useful for low budget owners...In my apartment only there are 7 to 9 RediGos...Atleast these people don't have to use bikes for 4 people...
I don't get this new obsession with all black interiors to make a car look and sound more sporty. A beige or lighter themed interior specially in this segment would make it feel roomier and lively and should be offered atleast as on option.
Very well explained sir 😎 with the amount of features at that price well definitely yes it's magnetic field will definitely attract alot of customers who would be eyeing on towards the sonet and the rivals 🌟 and Nissan is known for their Automatic transmissions and with the collab with Renault suspension drive and handling it's sure to make a mark in this segment for sure 😍 Yes Nissan will definitely miss out on those customers looking for the diesel engine but as customers are leaning towards the hybrid and electric segments by fractions it wouldn't make much of a miss 😎
Looks fantastic, no doubt about it and all major points have been covered in the review Howe, Nissan really needs to work on service center for a longer run
Man never imagined a car review could be this refreshing, you made my evening a little exciting, now for the car I will wait for pricing, top end manual and CVT will be on the list, and hey I have a Nissan dealer in my hometown 😀😎
Am I the only one here Who is giving safety more priority now ? (Not only air bag ebd or something but overall build quality ) Every car reviewer + even company should show global ncap figure in their review or catalogue
considering their pricing, i think this is the best any manufacturer can come up with. I'm guessing the profit margin on this product would be very thin for Nissan.

Nissan also did the same, u can in their site, but it not layed out clear in in excel kind of table, not marketed also
@@navin63897 They should do it very clearly, if they have really given it a go-ahead.
4star safety rating for Magnite. Bang bang Nissan 👏👏👏
Very aptly reviewed. This car can surely turn the fortunes for Nissan. Look forward to a video in city driving conditions..
Great video :) i own 4 diesel
Cars but i think petrol makes more sense nowadays. petrol n diesel fuel costs almost same, petrol engines have started giving better mileage.
Easily the best review i watched...very sleek and very engaging!! 👍
Thanks!
I don't get this new obsession with all black interiors to make a car look and sound more sporty. A beige or lighter themed interior specially in this segment would make it feel roomier and lively and should be offered atleast as on option.
Raunak is actually a good reviewer. Enjoy his videos.
Booked December 30 will get delivery by Jan 15th hopefully
Very well explained sir 😎 with the amount of features at that price well definitely yes it's magnetic field will definitely attract alot of customers who would be eyeing on towards the sonet and the rivals 🌟 and Nissan is known for their Automatic transmissions and with the collab with Renault suspension drive and handling it's sure to make a mark in this segment for sure 😍
Yes Nissan will definitely miss out on those customers looking for the diesel engine but as customers are leaning towards the hybrid and electric segments by fractions it wouldn't make much of a miss 😎
Looks fantastic, no doubt about it and all major points have been covered in the review Howe, Nissan really needs to work on service center for a longer run
Doubt if Nissan will come back Up like before as we have many more options right now! Best of Luck for Nissan! Indian market is.......⚡
This is bomb....Nissan will be on track with this one, I have no doubts...
Great review, guys. Only if Nissan had a better service reach out, this would have been a super sales number for them.
Thanks!
Man never imagined a car review could be this refreshing, you made my evening a little exciting, now for the car I will wait for pricing, top end manual and CVT will be on the list, and hey I have a Nissan dealer in my hometown 😀😎
Amazing and powerful car no Its a powerful SUV the best and beautiful
Pliz do a drive review for the 1.0L naturally aspirated xe variant
Segment disrupted....and thts the bottom line😎🔥
Yes, they have to talk about safety in terms of crash test, build quality.... etc as well. Now a days people also look for this.
This baby is LIGHT! Not having a diesel engine is definitely not a great move.
How is the build quality? Is it capable to achieve above 4 in crash test rating?
Cinematic shots and music is class 👌
Absolutely correct 👍💯
Watch the channel 'pilot on wheels ' magnite review. I think they have the most beautiful shots.
Great job Nissan but the service network issues makes it hard choice to consider
This review is just as beautiful as the car.
Thank you Atif!
@@raunakajinkya90 Big fan of your work man!! 🙏
@@atifhassan573 and now I'm a big fan of you :)
Am I the only one here Who is giving safety more priority now ?
(Not only air bag ebd or something but overall build quality )
Every car reviewer + even company should show global ncap figure in their review or catalogue
I feel the benchmark has been a Brezza, 'whatever Brezza gives we will give in Magnite, Brezza has all black interior, we give the same'
1:02 XUV 300 ko to list me bhi nhi kiya, like other automotive channels.
Not expected from PD.
😔😑🥺
Can i get this in automatic variant?
Yep, there's a CVT available with the turbo petrol.
@@powerdriftofficial thank you
Yes it has a beautiful cvt gearbox!
considering their pricing, i think this is the best any manufacturer can come up with. I'm guessing the profit margin on this product would be very thin for Nissan.
