After a wait of almost 9 months I got my Magnite Xv Pre O CVT last year in October. Apart from few technical issues in the features like camera and tyre sensors this car is awesome. So comfortable. I drove from Bangalore to Manali and back and never felt tired while driving. Total distance I covered was about 7-8K (with a hault in my hometown, Ballia UP). Drove in fully snow covered roads to no roads, off roading and many places where people would afraid to take their car there. If I have to buy back, I would choose same.

Magnite XV Premium - 7.94 lacs Kiger XZ - 8.10 lacs Punch Creative - 8.38 lacs It's just a matter of 44K at max between them ex showroom which results to a max of 53K on road price.. The Punch has a robustness & overall quality levels that's just unmatched by the other 2!.. Punch's proven 1200cc engine is much more lively n torquey (113Nm) under load than the other 2 cars' 1.0 ltr donkey engines with 96Nm of max torque!.. Punch's engine, clutch & gearbox is noticeably smoother than the other 2 also.. Punch's ride & handling will challenge a Nexon n may be even better it!!.. Kiger n Magnite isn't at the level of sophistication of Tata's ultra mordern ALFA platform chassis.. Ultimately don't go by just others opinions n get to the showroom have a touch n feel of all 3 cars n test drive them n you will understand that Punch is worth the extra 53K on road by being most mordern n capable overall..

@AutoCar : Sir i have two questions because budget is my constraint (keeping my budget at 8.15) and i have driven both Turbo and Non-Turbo, personally i liked Turbo, could you please help as i am bit confused. 1. Between XV Non-Turbo and XV Executive Turbo variant which is better in terms of (Mileage, Maintenance Cost) because i heard that XV Non-Turbo gives more mileage than Turbo variant. I also heard that if we buy Turbo variant (from any Car brand) then Maintenance cost is more. Could you please help i am confused. 2. If i compromise on the XV Non-Turbo feature which is 'Engine Start-Stop Button', 'Fog Lamp', 'LED DRL's' and even 'Infotainment system' and select the XV Executive Turbo variant will it be a value for money. Please let me know where to base the value based decision (as i was told by my friends that the features mentioned like LED Drls and fog lamp and Infotainment system can be added after market)
I GET IT MAGNITE IS THE BEST IN THIS SEGMENT , AND I DO AGREE WITH THAT , but nissan dosent really have good amount of service stations , i recently purchased the renault kiger and it was amazing , and it too suffer from the same issue very less service centers , which is problamatic , if tata punch had been available , 6 months ago i would have purchased the punch over the magnite and kiger , just for this reason. so my advice is decide with a lot of factors in your mind , just to inform the maginite is on demand and it takes a lot of time to recieve (2nd reason for not buying) , kiger is pretty fast, but as autocar said it s interior isnt practical at all , and driving too (the kiger used in this video is new so it felt good but once used it s worse than magnite ) , personally never tried the punch so dont know , magnite is the best but it has issue around the brand the car is perfect but wouldnt say the same for the brand (ik nissan is a very famous japanese brand and crushes both of these companies in it s history of cars ) but i am speaking about nissan in india. so ya , and the magnite turbo version is phenomenal in driving experience

Good decision
Tata Punch-
Best engine (1.2L, 86 bhp),
Good ride quality,
handles bumps & potholes better,
5 star safety,
Tata service network,
Gives SUV feel,
Good for daily commute,
Big boot space but oddly shaped,
Misses out on few tech features like a comparatively slower touchscreen (but I’ve been using that in the nexon and frankly it has never been a problem)
Nissan Magnite-
Bigger head and knee space,
Bigger boot space,
lacks good ride quality,
lots of noise in the cabin,
engine (1.0 L, 72 bhp) not very powerful,
4 star safety rating
Renault Kiger- Looks good,
Good seats,
Good knee, head & boot space,
Not the best with gears and clutch,
Lots of noise in the cabin,
Engine (1.0 L, 72bhp) not as powerful as Punch,
Better touchscreen,
Cousin of Magnite (incl +ve and -ve),
4 star safety

So my cons in look is
Punch: rear look 💩💩
Magnite front look is not aggressive as kiger and punch interior also
Kiger: over all good
I'm looking for Spacious, good driving dynamics, comfortable car with best in safety
So it is punch for me...
Honest review & verdict 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Magnite Design, Beauty, Spacious and Engine ❤
Ncap has also tested the magnite and it scored ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Magnite XV Premium - 7.94 lacs
Kiger XZ - 8.10 lacs
Punch Creative - 8.38 lacs
It's just a matter of 44K at max between them ex showroom which results to a max of 53K on road price..
Exactly my thoughts!
when Reno and Nissan provides car with good engines people talk about features.. when it provides features people it's funny that people talk about engine. All 3 vehicles are developed keeping different category of customers in mind.
True even I felt the same. Punch is better to drive when compared to kiger and magnite...
True
Kiger and Magnite are 4 star Global NCap rated now!
Good comparison. Keep it up

Magnite 🔥🔥❤️❤️
We can change numerous cars in our lifetime but we cannot change life once it's gone . So safety is our priority and safety comes with a price tag . All features said and done and accepted that punch is expensive compared to both but that's wt for safety you paid price for and it's really worth considering ur only one life !!!!
I test drove both magnite and kiger cvt
The magnite looks good in photos but however in flesh the kiger looks more handsome. The ride quality and suspension and steering feedback of the kiger is much better than the magnite. The road noise is much more in magnite and it feels more flimsy when one drives it around.
Poor gear shift of tata punch..... Have driven n speaks of the improvement of India🇮🇳 cars... Long way to go.
I'm going with magnite.. but turbo version
Because normal magnite seems to be very low in performance
Magnite 🔥🔥
My choice - magnite
Can you guys make a comparison between the Skoda kushaq, WolkswagenTaigun, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta??
Very unbiased review 👍🙏👍❤️
Nissan is the trendsetter here
@AutoCar : Sir i have two questions because budget is my constraint (keeping my budget at 8.15) and i have driven both Turbo and Non-Turbo, personally i liked Turbo, could you please help as i am bit confused.
On road the Magnite looks dam cool 👍
kiger is small but nice tbh
Great blog 👍
Is planet gray color available for 2022 model.?
As i planning to book the car. I will be highly obliged if can reply me.
We have booked Kiger Rxz turbo cvt , monthly running 900 kms approx , 50 % city, 30% highway, 20% Bumper to bumper traffic, is our decision right???
I will go for Magnite!.
.. Waiting for facelift for panoramic sunroof
If Nissan Magnite could just improve their interiors a bit, it would be a great buy for sure
